Maybe it's just me, but I haven't noticed any problems with the lights on the aerial. I'll keep an eye out but so far nothing. Lights look great though. :12:

 Seriously, read...CFD was trying to make a, more or less modding group, which I was trying to help get going but thats hard to do when there is no communication between members who claim they dont have time when it is apparent they do.

Anyways, Mikesphotos Guide to LAFD topic has some good light videos, and mikes youtube account as well.

Yes, let's be serious... :P But then again, maybe he does have time but perhaps has found himself swamped by more pressing matters (holidays, family, etc..) which by the way happens to us all. I can't tell you much I've really wanted to update my mod for the EM4 Deluxe Version. I just don't have any time nowadays since the start of student teaching.

im trying to download this mod and its asking me what should i open it with. can anyone tell me or guide me thru how to download this mod?

The ladder is so bad because there are6 individual lights on front and then 2 lights on back, all with the rotars, that is 32 lights, and that is just a start, then the "strobe" lights he did require 2 lights each... It adds up quickly

No, you are right, I would only release little changes, so you could choose what you wanted... Now each update did have all the previous ones in it, unless it was a patch. I plan to do the same later on , with something else.

More or less, that's what I would've said. I have a personal preference with lights, as do most people, mine is realistic. I won't be downloading this, however I will gladly help any time it's needed, and I still do my own. I stopped because I didn't like the whole "Christmas tree" thing that Tony's lights was doing, and I figured, CFD can do it now, he knows, so he can take over, he likes them like that, so let him do it the way he wants, and I'll do my own, with the light bars, and such, just not as much.

Though I do agree with Xplorer, try and do updates more often with less, then less often with more, some people would rather get it in drabs then big piles. But once again, your mod, do it your way, and remember keep your fans happy, and then you'll be on your way :)

Haha. But really, did you notice the problem? The bucket on the ladder is just offset...that's all. :P

EDIT: I fixed it. Just moved the bucket and deleted the lights on the bucket. Everything works perfect now! :D

Updated Umarked P71. LAPD SUV. LAFD Ambulance. I'm waiting for a new LASD and CHP cruiser by one of my buddy. It'll have an arjent and CHP with LED bar, on a better P71 model. Wait what? :holdglass:

If you want better CV models, I have updated NNICOs CV to match all of the LA Crown Vics. Although it really should be scaled down a bit.

Hey CFD, are you working with Dyson on his lights for the New York Submod?

One thing I noticed, the lights on the rear shining down on the ground are set as head lights(on the engines). They should be set as blue lights or maybe special as the lights on the rear, irl, are to bright and blind drivers behind the engines. There just scene lighting but the lights on the pump panels are a real nice touch.

Its part of the truck's lighting system, not emergency. It remains activated during the day and night in real life, so for that, i only made it to run at night.

As best as I can recall are trucks shut them off when there not code 3, because I was behind one of the quints as it was leaving a fire and they had these lights on and I was having a hard time seeing until they shut them off about 20 feet down the road or so.

Thank you CFD. Great additions as always.

Just a heads up. When the SUV is on patrol or if the unit is sent back to the station the lightbar still flashes. It actually looks like a strobe bar once the lights are deactivated. Like one layer shut off and another didnt.

Man, CFD, you nailed it again! You make'em how they're supposed to be. Good job. I wish those flares could be touched up more - they just have that look like highway flares. I don't ever use them because of that reason.

Hey CFD, did you redo the BLS Ambulance or not yet? I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss that mod if you released one...

I just installed both the Preview and the Christmas vehicle lights. They look superb. Your work is a breathe of fresh air compared to the old lights.

The last time I checked this forum, I thought you guys were done with California/LA lights. Are you guys going to make changes/update all the lights on all vehicles, or is this for a few select units?

Are the lights completely realistic or are they a blend of realistic lights and extra lights?

What's the difference between the cv unmarked patrol car found in the Preview file vs the Christmas file?

Since you mentioned the new CHP LED lightbar here's a video that might come in handy: CHP LED Lightbar

There are 6 videos which show front and back patterns. A unique thing about the CHP lightbar is that the rear facing portion of the lightbar is Blue on the Left, and Red on the Right. I don't know how you'll manage to do that, but I wish you luck.

Thank you for your time.
