Its a .RAR file - you will need to download WinRar to extract it.

Extract the files first, then copy them over the old files.

I would like to inform you that I am retiring from Em4, and PC Gaming, effectively now.

Thank you for the opportunities for professional and personal development that this community have provided me over the years. I have enjoyed making this project for the community and appreciate the support provided me during my tenure with the community.

While I look forward to enjoying my retirement, I will miss PC Gaming, and Em4 If I can be of any assistance during this transition, please let me know.

If you think you are the perfect candidate for my position, Message me. This Project's heart cannot keep beating unless we have a perfect defibrillator and operator.

Life is ringing the alarm and I have to respond to that alarm. I'm currently planning to move to the US and its a Pain in the butt for citizenship, visa, all that stuff. I'm planning to go to a university over there that does Fire Rescue Degrees, and that will assist me to fulfill my dream; To become a Deaf Firefighter.

and by the way, my gaming computer had a blue screen of death, everything was wiped and lost. so i couldn't continue and i had no available time to re-install everything. Maybe in the future, I'll jump back on the wagon but it will be a while.

But i will still go on this forum and check out whats happening.

as far as I know is this a problem which was supposed to be sorted out , because we all seem to have this ..... on the other hand if he now stops this project there is only a slim chance left that someone else is going to fix this ...... I could be wrong and he finds a successor to keep his work going and up to date

While I think its a bit stupid to say "i no longer have time for this" when you have some one like Hoppah who works and goes to school(if memory serves me right) has time to work on the LA Mod, which is a much bigger project, on a fairly constant basis, I think its fair to say that CFd could find time to continue his project. We all have lives outside of EMP and mange to make our projects.

When I get around to it I plan to get a working installer for PRL and fixing the missing prototypes.

Please DO NOT PM ME for help. Ask your questions on the forum to help others with the same issue.

That bug will not be fixed, Chad has lost all data on his computer and only has his laptop which doesn't have any Project Reality files on it what so ever.

I could possibly help out more and get more updates but I do not live in USA or CA. I live in Scotland and the lighting over here is different.

Anyway, who knows, Chad might come back if he has the patience to fix his computer and get things up and running.

Until then, I will happily take requests for any other mod which needs lighting.

-Conroy.

Have you tried to move to a new country, obtain citizenship, and establish a new life?

Neither have I, so this could be a very grueling process. And for all intents and purposes, he could just not want to work on the mod anymore. Who are you, or any of us for that matter, to say whether [not weather] he has time or not? Or that his reasons for not working on a project anymore are "stupid". You don't know him, what he's doing IRL, or live with him.

I'm just as disappointed as everyone else to see a big contributor to the LA Mod decide to stop, but thus is life. Eventually Hoppah will move on and the LA Mod will halt.
