were do i in stall the Preview Pack??

To install the Preview Pack, drag the files to the proper folders located in the Prototype Folder of LA Mod dictionary Path.

So if you see Government folder inside the preview pack, then drag the Tahoe file inside to the LA government folder....

And for LED Bars, its up to Reece to decide if we should make an LED bar or not.

I really like these lights. The colors are much more stark and therefore more effectively realistic. The patterns are on the money as well. I have liked all of the light mods that all of the other contributors have created for so long but THESE really take the cake. I cant wait until all of the Los Angeles units are done this way. Great colors.

Thank you for those kind words. They keep me motivated. They are Engine 7 and Engine 88 -- If you view it at night, you will be able to see Door lights, Pump Gauge Lights, vice versa. I really like it.

Ah, that's what caught my attention on one of the engines, were the lights at dusk. That was a very pleasant surprise. Any plans to do the LAPD motorcycles?

I'm busy in my life and i try take my available time to get on here and do lights as well read comments that makes me think that Facebook is more intelligent than the comments.

The ladder is so bad because there are6 individual lights on front and then 2 lights on back, all with the rotars, that is 32 lights, and that is just a start, then the "strobe" lights he did require 2 lights each... It adds up quickly



No, you are right, I would only release little changes, so you could choose what you wanted... Now each update did have all the previous ones in it, unless it was a patch. I plan to do the same later on , with something else.




More or less, that's what I would've said. I have a personal preference with lights, as do most people, mine is realistic. I won't be downloading this, however I will gladly help any time it's needed, and I still do my own. I stopped because I didn't like the whole "Christmas tree" thing that Tony's lights was doing, and I figured, CFD can do it now, he knows, so he can take over, he likes them like that, so let him do it the way he wants, and I'll do my own, with the light bars, and such, just not as much.

Though I do agree with Xplorer, try and do updates more often with less, then less often with more, some people would rather get it in drabs then big piles. But once again, your mod, do it your way, and remember keep your fans happy, and then you'll be on your way

oh I believe he is already on his way. and I'm happy. one of the problems with many of some of the older lights was that the colors of LED lights lost their richness. CFD has done an excellent job replacing that. I would love to see CFD put a new road flare in the works. the default ones are terrible and I don't use them because of that reason.

CFD has added this to two of the engines (along with other lighted objects). Take a look at his Preview Pack at the bottom of the first post.
