Yer but the wireless has to come from some where. Is there a box looking object in your house that is pluged in 24/7 and came when you got your internet? (BTW who is your internet with?)

Hi
I have windows vista
I can't get to 192.168.1.1 ???
Where I can see that?
You can see your default gateway at: start >> cmd >> ipconfig/all
And you will see default gateway: xxx.xxx.x.x in stead of 192.168.1.1

You have to find your router's ip connect page not 192.168.1.1.

You dont type the pc's IP in. Each router has its own IP connect page. Usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 Do this "Click Start > Run > Type in 'cmd' > When the black box appears type 'ipconfig' when the black box has finished, look for 'Defult gateway' get the IP and type that into the ADDRESS BAR, not google search, not anything (the place where you type www.google.com etc...) Then you should get accesss... But yes who is your internet with?
