Go on...what's the secret?

Not a huge one but there will be a new map; it'll probably be done this summer, for those newbiees who post about when is it about to be released.

Rescue 7 should be up later. It's actually a double duty truck as it is both a rescue truck as well as a brush truck just as it is in real life. This truck will be similar to the HES in the LA Mod. On board this truck will be:
Axe
Chainsaw
EMT Bag
Fire Extinguisher
Flare
Traffic Cone
Fire Extinguisher
Jaws of Life

And the jump pad may be included as well.

Looking good so far ;]

So, what is it the fire fighters do? Do they wait a block away before going to the station to get the truck? Nope. 10 or 12 guys go into the Station, put their gear on, and 6 of them jump in the Pump. The rest, they stay in the building in case they need the Rescue. So, Pump 1 responds from 119 Bertie St to 119 Bertie St, but, they have to follow protocol. So, they drive around they block, and stage at the corner, waiting for police to clear the building they just left.

x]

Sorry there has been a lack of updates. My main modeler has up and disappeared. Hopefully I will knwo more on his situation later today. :-/

I have decided that I will show off a few pics of a few units to be included to pass the time.

First up is Rescue 7:
The truck is a 1992 Ford F-350 with a Warner Grass Rig body. It has a 250 gallon tank and can dispense 250 gallons per minute.
250gpm/250gal
http://img38.imagesh...e7ds8067390.jpg
As I said this truck is a dual purpose brush truck and rescue truck. It also pulls the departments john boat for water rescues.

Next up is...
Dive Rescue 6:
http://img6.imagesha...diverescue6.jpg
This unit is still in service but theres a similar Dive Rescue in service to that is a slightly modified box style ambo. Which one will make it in the Mod? Wait and see. ;) These vehicles are used for dive rescue(who would have guessed? :P) and water rescue as well. They can pull the boats at the stations or the Sea Doo Jet Skis. The units were chosen to allow divers to gear up while on the way to the scene.

Last one for now:
Rescue 8 - 2004 Dodge Durango 4x4
http://img41.imagesh...e8ds9251598.jpg
Here we go with the multipurpose vehicles again. :P This is the Battalion Chief's vehicle for starters. It doubles as a quick first responder medical aid unit. Guess what, yep, there a third purpose. Its also set up to pull the departments water rescue boat.

Enjoy the pics for now. :)

Well since you bumped, which is alright, I guess I can drop a small update. Both SocomCM and I have been busy. If he can get me models like he has said he will, then I still want to put this together. At the moment, I cant even speculate much of anything. I have pretty much all the reskined units ready to go. Mostly just the crown vic as I said earlier. So time will tell.

Well I posted this awhile back. Never finished touching it up, probably tomorrow.

ShaneGreen and all of those that worked on the Vintage AMR gave me permission to use there AMR skin. It will likley have a small touch up which will put it back to a white roof as our AMRs do not have any markings on top, but otherwise it will be the same.

Ambulance wise you wont have much to choose from for transport. AMR Vintage and AMR Box Style. Sorry folks, but not every city can have 5 different types of ambulances :P None the less Vintage will be BLS and Box style will be ALS. In real life, AMR uses both styles for both BLS and ALS so for the games sake it was easier to split duties this way.

AMR In LA County is putting each Box as ALS and each type 2 as BLS

After a month of no updates, helljumper and NPD-Traffic have been kind enough to lend a hand. Helljumper has started on one of the primary pumper engines. NPD-Traffic has been kind enough to lend me a Dodge Durango model:
Geposte afbeelding
The unit is Rescue 8 a 2004 Dodge Durango 4x4. The truck is used as a medical quick-response and Battalion Chief's vehicle. In real life this unit is used to pull Water 2 which is a 2000 Scorpion Rescue Boat. Weather this will be the case in the mod, I cant say. I do have a working script that, I think Wolftep(sp?), made that enabled a vehicle to pull a boat on a trailer and drop it in the water. However the script is not perfect by any means so time will tell.

In the mean time be sure to check out the Newark Mod!

AMR is the same company in the entire nation

Really? I had no idea. Point is that doesnt mean they operate exactly the same way in every city across the country, because every cities needs differ. AMR provides Critical Care Units in LA. To my knowledge, AMR here does not have any critical care transport units. So just because there switching to one body style in LA doesnt mean there switching body styles here. Not to say they cant or wont.
