Hey is there a posibility that there will be a charger taxi ( not suggesting it just asking sorry if it pisses you off )

Charger Taxi? Are you kidding? there is no room in the trunk for deliveries and or luggage. What jerk would by a charger for a taxi and limit him/her self business. Take it from me, I've been in the business for 25 years, and I've rather have a minivan for a taxi. You will not get any request to take anyone to the airport or train station. LOL........

Are Air/Light uints possiable, the air thing would do nothing but, I think a small truck would be good as asupport truck. Like this one http://fulton.ga.sca...;orderby=titleA EVentually after the map, a new truck would be cool.

Just looked at the pictures on the first page again, and I have to say, the new station 2 looks a-w-e-s-o-m-e.

Hoppah,

I used the search function and didn't find this, but anyways, with the LA River. Are you thinking about putting a car accident there? That'd be pretty neat to have a car running into the LA River and having to use the crane to get it out. Just an idea.

Yes, it's a good idea but I don't know if I can make the river accessible. The whole river is a 3D-object and the sides might be too steep for a fire fighter to go down.
I can put a car in the river, but without injured people or any other things that require vehicles/personnel to go down. Or you would have to use helicopters, which can land on the bottom.

you can make it a 2 car inncident where there is one car in the water without anyone in it and then have a car on a bridge with someone in it and one person laying on the ground or something like that

just a thought :D

In that case, the crane would be needed. After you lift down the car with the crane you can deploy personnel to open it.

I thought there was going to be an entrance to the river by the sides.

helicopter idea is cool you could make use of the uscg retreavel function ( when they lower a basket for an injured person ) Just place a car and two people outside it and the helicopter will need to retreve each person and bring them to a ambo at the top. PS: Not trying to suggest just putting an option it

Why not have these type of helicopters in game, in addition to the rescue copter, they'd be really good for lifting things and are much faster than the crane.

Plus such a helicopter probably isnt used in civilian search and rescue operations. As you see in the pic its being used for military purposes, and furthermore thats an incredibly old pic. I dont even know if such a unit is in service these days.

It would be a skycrane, there is a firefighting varient out there of it, but generally it's used for industrial applications, like lifting AC units onto highrises.... Really not practical for the mod... also either new map or new toys not both.

Sky helicopter is useless, because you can never make that work.
From now on I will delete all the suggestions, because NONE will be added as long I am still working on the map.

Hoppah now LAFD & LACOFD don't need to put men down because they bought the heavy rescue units and that how we are taught in la county now. we do not want to puut men down there or use a helicopter because it is to dangerous. If we rely need to we can stop the flow of water at several dams along the river. I hope this helps you.

good job so far  !!!!!

and if you need anything about LAFD or LACOFD let me know.
