It makes it more realistic, they usualyy respond an Engine and Truck to and MVA with entrapment, where extracation might be needed. Usually they will also send a heavy rescue, not just 1 engine staffed with 4 FF/PM.

Indeed, that is basically exactly what Hoppah said when he was talking about why it won't be on the engine any more, for realism :)

with mission 5 drives the rotary leaders not about the bridge.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by rotary leader. Is that suppose to mean crane or fire engine crane?

The problem may be that you are to close to the object for it to put down the arms and have the room to move the crane toward the object. Just a guess.

The crane functions, but if I liked to send the crane about the bridge he stops in the bridge and it only the sirens howl.

In Mission 4, the racetrack crash, if you use rollback trucks to move the debris first, you cannot rescue the victims afterwards, even though the rubble is no longer on top of them.

After Mission 4, My game crashes at random times. I even put in the cheat to have all missions available and try to play 6, It crashed... Now, Playing Missions 1-4 I have no problems, just playing the rest seem to make my game crash.

The aerial ladder truck can be moved while it's ladder is up. When you press "Go back to base", it will allow you to move without deinstalling the ladder.

lol happened to me once in multiplayer last year and was the funniest thing ever :lach:. tried recreating it in freeplay but if i click the button it lowers the guy and then goes. could be one of 2 things:1. i clicked the back to firestation command 2. it can only happen in multiplayer.

anyway, i thing its been reported before but Mission 2 (Gas Canister) crashes randomly ( around 1-2 real life minutes into it). really annoying

how much money are you supposed to have in the LA mod airport fire mission? (mission number 10 i think)

i start with 15.000 and thats only enough to buy EMS OR fire, not both?


EDIT on 8th march:

in multiplayer, when the lamborghini gallardo gets stolen (near the church, northern half of the map) it is not possible for the rollback truck to pick the car up after you have arrested the thief? have had that happen to me in both 1.8 and 1.7, and the host cant pick it up either.

it only happens with the gallardo, not other stolen cars

I also have some problems in Multiplayer when i play LA MOD. One of them is that i cant get firefighter in building with the ladder truck. Maybe i'm just doing it rong. or it is bugged, Some other problems are that something firefighters get bugged and can't be moved anymore. And the last, The fire hoses sometimes drop on the ground and i cant get them up anymore.

Any particular reason the Heavy Rescue Squad cant pick up the debris in the F1 crash mission? would be nice if i didnt have to call in LACoFD Heavy Rescue for jaws and a seperate crane for pick up...

i dunno. every time i order it to pick up a piece of debris in the F1 crash mission, it just moves around a little then stops. its really annoying

I think that might've happened with me before, the only thing I had to do was clear the way of "rubber-neckers"(yes, that is an emergency 1 reference :P) and make sure my units weren't in the way, then it seemed to work fine :)

I noticed that if say USFS personnel equip a gated wye on a hose then leaves the why in place and then say a EMT/FF comes along and uninstalls the gated wye, then they will transform into a full fledged USFS personal.
