When you hover over the engine the command should show up of you have a line installed

Great thank you, that totally fixed the problem. Only other issue I've found is firefighters can't reenter the Hazmat unit.

Going back and reading our comments, it may seem that we came off as rude...this issue with FF_EMTs is that they have little to no use medically in the game.  If you wish to use an Engine for medical assists, having FF_EMT is pretty pointless.  I can understand some wish to try and run things realistic with 3 FF_EMT and 1 Paramedic but with the scripts involved it is much easier to just make all the personnel the same unit.  If I have read most of the stuff on limited water supply correctly, a lot of the scripting has to deal with the nearest idle unit conducting the desired operation.  So if you have the standard 3-1 ratio going, there is a good change you will loose your paramedic to pump operation or tagging a fire hydrant.  I hope this sheds some light on the topic.

I've run into the GetEquipment limit with my LA mod personnel, so I decided to re-specialize my paramedics and remove fire-hose and pump commands, that way they are focused on rescue and medical tasks. I have some ideas on some workarounds, but they might be complicated.

I also have an idea on fixing that person switch with the supply line remove, plus the wye and hose extension commands. Just waiting for some professional help.

Didn't you apply the limited water logic to the LA mod?  I would love to get my hands on your private mod.

Well, I might have somewhat fixed that person switching "bug" with the remove supply line, wye, and extension commands. Took one little line.

n->ChangePrototype(p.GetPrototypeFileName());

Yep. I've still got plenty of work to do and details to finish, and that's before getting any permissions I might need.

OT: I did figure out how to make it so that when I select two paramedics, the EMT case now turns in Get Stretcher, and activates correctly. That's one less command I need to have on my people. I'm going to try that, and Key Press parameters on others and see how that works out.

A few pages back is the fix, I think u have to equip them with a hose and then drop the hose to make them available to renter the truck.

Only suggestion i would make is to tone down the brake lights on the trucks when its night time outside. Other then that, its my new favorite mod. Love the tanker truck! :sporty:

I have encountered a very annoying problem. Since the firefighters are all paramedics, they will sometimes try to heal someone while possessing a hose. This causes them to glitch out completely and forces me to restart freeplay. I haven't yet found a solution except restarting. If anyone knows how to fix this please tell.

My only problem right now is the traffic. There is too much and it is backing up at traffic lights, causing units to get stuck and not arrive on scene. Is there any way to fix this issue?

I've noticed that as well(compared to the original map traffic) I'm assuming Mentor changed the light duration. I haven't compared them though, so I can't be sure. Easy fix would be set a cop at one or two spawn points and redirect cars back off the map as they appear, though that only fixes backupson that one path.

OK guys the traffic is not an issue. It is like that on purpose. If you don't like it change it yourself. Also for the medics parking wrong, I forgot to set the barricades as an actual barricade. I have already fixed the issue and it will be in the next version. I will also look at the heal script and disable automatic heal part in it

Had my first hazmat incident while playing and ran into a bit of an issue. My hazmat team kept getting poisoned even though they were in their hazmat suits. Not sure why it was doing this but it made the hazmat incident nearly impossible to deal with.

I want trying to knock you about the traffic, sir. I like that it feels like a busier town. The buildings on the map feel like it's busier than the stock traffic suggested. Plus it's a good challenge.

The easiest way to change the amount of traffic is to open the editor and change the values in the vehicle spawn points. That's what I did. Does anyone know how to change traffic light duration though?

Take a look around the forum, there are a few topics about traffic light timings around here.

I can't give you a link right now, but I know there are a few around.

In the editor, the map load then click on the traffic lights and instead of 2 replace the last number with five and OK.So you can make it with all the lights. The mod is super geworden.Gruß Westfalia

You can also edit vehicletraffic to lower in freeplay params to decrease amount of traffic.
