It's been a while since I posted any media. Here's a new screen: Attached File  usar+sup.jpg   426.99KB   416 downloads

Still trying to get the soldier model working. That's my biggest problem right now. Thanks to Cops for his light bars, they saved me a lot of time and effort.

I noticed that it saws "volunteer" on the rescue, are you doing anythng special to make the department a volunteer departmnet (POVs respond to station scripts or something) ?

I have noticed that only some vehicles are marked that, Others are marked without volunteer on them. Maybe it's a half and half kinda deal? Volunteer vehicles need to be clearly marked in Chester County?

You might have been lying under a rock or just overlooked it, but Chester County is completely made up by Bama.

Nice truck by the way!

I haven't. I know that. It's a county that is based off a couple different places named chester... and loosely at that. It's a Theoretic Answer/Question FOR bama to answer.

Since this is something that bama made up, this means bama is the creator... It was question marked as he'd be the only person able to answer it. Get it now?

Originally there were two departments: City and County districts. Now all have been changed over to one department, Volunteer Fire. If you notice, all the units with the updated scheme are marked Volunteer. As for a POV system I'm not sure yet but you can expect some sort of personal vehicle in the mod.

I believe helijumper was doing somesort of volunteer scripts with his mod before it died. That would be really cool but would probably require to much scripting and crash to often to be fesable. Shame

Just want to clear something up real quick. Will there be two rescues? I remember the other one that is on the front page as well. Also, what vehicle is that following the rescue in the pic above? It looks like a supervisor or captains SUV but there's the GMC supervisor, I'm curious if there will be two of them or if its a support explorer.
Great job so far! I cant wait to play it again!! :)

Yes. There will be multiple rescues and multiple supervisor vehicles. And I can't wait to get it released, believe me :machkaputt: but I'll be taking my time to make sure it is top-notch.

By all means take your time. Is a Beta release still in the plan?

Did you make your most of your models Bama? :) Or are they from other projects? Either way, it looks sweet, keep up the great work.

Not sure if you've already looked into it, but if you look at the Aarhus Modification they have a script for Multiple Volunteer Stations. When you activate the alarm some volunteers come on foot and some come via personal vehicle. Once they get there you have to choose which gear the put on and which vehicle they get it. It doesnt take as long as it seems you could have the entire station (3-6 Vehicles in that Mod) on the road in about 2 minutes.

Thank you,

"Station 27"

Adding a new helmet and gear model is causing the game to crash.
