This what happened in 2000: B train derails at DeKalb Ave. Brooklyn, around 10:00 pm. Approximately 70 people injured. First three cars of southbound train jumped the tracks south of DeKalb requiring approx. 70 feet of track to be replaced. Service was restored by 6:00 am the next morning. Quote from an NYC subway accidents Accidents website. (Look in google)

police close off streets
fire and rescue stage while plane is on final and then when the plane passes fire rescue follows the plane till it stops.
not to upset anyone but just the thought of crashing airplanes brings back bad memories and angers people.
just a thought.

I second that, a huge riot and you need all forces to bring the city to order.
I'm sure the president has been to NY several times, has there been anything that happened involving the president that you could script? I was thinking like a hostile crowd forces the president to be evacuated and it is your duty to block off the area with gates and shut down all streets to get him out of there safely? Sounds a bit boring though but its a mission.
Is that battalion, engines, ambulances in the first version or second version that you have pictures on the first post?

whatever else i'm missing, we probably have. the team's big enough..
beta testers that didn't work on the mod aren't technically part of the team unless their scripters or the team itself. their just people who want to have it before everyone else, but they didn't want to be part of the construction process. lol. people on the team can see what's wrong and fix it or relay it to each other to get that fixed. outside testers that didn't help just play it because they got it first.

I have downloaded the LA mod and copied and pasted the NY submod files in and the mod loads fine but for some reason none of the units have their commands.
Any help would be appreciated

Sorry if someone has already asked about this, but....

Usually thats because you loaded a mod, then another mod, try running standard em4 first if this doesn't solve it just wait for 2.1
I have a mission idea it, is actually a mission from the em3 la mod but it may work in the ny submod. There could be a murder and the police will have to question people around the area to try to find the suspects.When they find them it can turn into a hostage situation to where the people will have to be rescued and the suspect will be arrested. Just a thought.
Sounds cool I was thinking of something similar
Will there be any surprises, which is not mentioned until now?
Probably, theres loads of stuff I added, some personal,some to make members of the team laugh, and some just for a bit of fun

Yeah I get it, its just that when the past several pages are practically "you should do this" "yeah, and do this!" "do this too with a backflip!" its a little ridiculous reading through. lolnot to mention the key to making a good game(mod) is listening to Community feedback. not just your own

Woohoo. I can't wait to play either of them because your v2.0 looks great. Your doing a great job and keep up the great work. Even if their mod comes out, I'll still play other mods because one map and vehicles get boring playing over and over again. You will have different vehicles than them and a different map / missions so its something new to me imo.
I asked this in Miami Mod (they had a couple there) but I'll ask here too, what is the NYPD coach for? Is it a command post or to transport units?
