Think I'll join in with some English sarcasm.

Give the guy a break, let him show us some products before passing judgement. If he manages to make a 5 x bigger map then kudos to him.

wanna tickle me so i can laugh about it?

jeezs, at least point the guy in the right direction.

This is basically what forums are for.
You don't know something, then you ask about it.
You get a few answers that are useless, and a few good onces that actually answer you question.

@bards1:
Take a look >>>HERE<<<
There is a tutorial for sirens on that site.

Good luck.

I'm assuming you have read through this topic?

In the beginning people tried(/slightly tried :P) to help out but it got nowhere.
He wanted all this help, then claimed he could do most stuff anyway after saying he put his own models in game.

What bothers me is that he has been online since we asked for pictures of his models, and after being told how to upload stuff on the site he then asks how to fully complete a model.

I was online when LA2.0 was released!

i read the topic.
But still.
I think some people still can post some links/tips to someone.
Whether he can do something, or not.

We all had to learn didn't we?

Understandable, but he has already said he can model etc, he put his own in the game according to him?

The thing was he wanted a 'good english mod', when london mod and coastal mod are so close to being finished, why bother making another?

And as sniped pointed out, everything he wants is in their mod (bar the 5x map but i find that pointless anyway)

Hence why we all suggested he offer his help to them, not our fault if he wouldn't?

You can't just take someone else's work and edit it for the mod, you must create some of your own.

If your really serious about making this mod, do some research find pictures of units, an area and so on.

I don't think he's at that stage yet. :P
He needs to develop he skills or get someone else to help him.

@Bards1, Do you have an area that you are basing the mod on?

I think he said just 'England'

I still think you'd be better off assisting London or Coastal mod.

I'd rather have a playable one than 3 prospective ones

Me too.

If he just based the mod on 'England' it would be hard to choose what to write on the units. eg. West midlands ambulance service.

ECFRS etc.

The list would be endless (big d/l file and units i think)

The first mod to have 1000 skins(!)

Is there really a need for every single bit of kit though? I.e. environment agency grab packs, thermal imaging cameras, Gerda security keys? I can't see a use for them & that's even if you could make them/get them to work in game. Just my opinion though.

Have you had any luck with the 5x bigger map or uploading the pics of the reskins you did?

A map that is 5 times bigger than the maximum size of 8192²pixel is not possible.
You can try as much as you want, EM4 does not support it. If you want to support a larger gamearea, you will have to find script related solutions, and combine multiple maps. You cannot have one map that is bigger than 8192² pixel.

I fought the law and the law won.
