The light bars on SU2 are different from those on standard RA's. They're primarily Amber if you look at the pics on Mikesphotos page

I've seen pics of SU2. They do have more amber lights than red lights.
As MCERT1 said look on Mikesphotos website for pics.

And here's another one.

Also, I think the SWAT heavy rescue ingame really isn't used by SWAT. I believe it's bomb squad only.

I found this pic of a police command post from LA county, but I'm not sure if it's LACoPD or LAPD, since it says LA county department of emergency management on the side.

LAPD have three Pierce Rescues: 1 for SWAT, 1 for the Bomb Squad, 1 for the Under Water Dive Unit

Well there we go. I was wrong.

Also, would the LAFD utility van really carry hose?

Another thing, will SU-2 have its proper markings? Right now it says its unit 571 or something like that.

It confused me for a long time till i sat down and researched it... they're all a little different.
I have blueprints for the bomb squad and SWAT truck, but I have pictures from all angles on them all. (Now if I could only model :P )

Yes i know, Will be working on editing that, it is just a preliminary model.

I am looking for an equipment list and what not for the Utility Van, but for the time being it will.

SU-2 says SU2, probably because of the size of the pictures you cant see it all too well, but I'll do a video sometime soon.
Thanks,
Andrew.

It's "higher" in chain of command.

http://www.lacity.org/LAFD/div3.htm

So, what is it the fire fighters do? Do they wait a block away before going to the station to get the truck? Nope. 10 or 12 guys go into the Station, put their gear on, and 6 of them jump in the Pump. The rest, they stay in the building in case they need the Rescue. So, Pump 1 responds from 119 Bertie St to 119 Bertie St, but, they have to follow protocol. So, they drive around they block, and stage at the corner, waiting for police to clear the building they just left.

:welcome: to the forums then, yea, we can't ask for release dates.

Okay, now to the main question. Are these just skins? cause if your gonna put out a beta release, it would be nice to see some actual new models x.x I'm sorry, it just doesn't go over well: "Even more additional Units"? But... reskins... That's not additional really. I hope you have a new model or something...

Right, for the time being, most are skins. I am looking and working towards a few new models to add.
Thanks,
Andrew.
