These are screen shots of some customizations I have done to the LA Mod. Click for full size images. ;)

NOTE: This is a private submod at this stage!

In the first screen shot here, you can see the Los Angeles Port Police Station

I removed the original building and replaced it with this. LAPP officers will park there cars here rather then the LAPD station. Officers will appear to escort prisoners inside this building when returning here after an arrest.There is room for 3 cruisers to park here but I only plan on keeping one here.

Next up we have the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.

There is 3 scripted parking places here as well. Just like the LAPP Station criminals can be housed here. Although I may end up moving this out to the mountain side.

Last but not least, is the grand finale for now. The LAPD Station revised.

Most of this is just for show. However, I did move the 3 parking spaces from out front of the station, to the backside of the station. I felt it was unrealistic to take prisoners in the front. Instead the three parking spaces are up against the building where you see the charger, slick top and crown vic. Units will escort prisoners in the door between the slick top and cv. Were not done yet though. Now you also notice the 2 SWAT Heavy Rescue Trucks. One of these is actually a bomb squad truck. I just need to do some minor repainting to tell them apart. None the less, there also scripted to park here. Lastly, while not pictured here, the SWAT Bear and Bear Cat trucks are scripted to park in the empty spots between the off white cv, and the garage door.

Thats all for now, but I do have a few more changes in store for the fire stations, as well as some other places.

I might. ;) I need to do some minor bug fixes still. Nothing big but just adjusting the vos slightly for better accuracy when parking.

might as well include the tower in FS2 while your at it lol since its on there

Indeed.

Perl had the idea of replacing the Hazmat truck with Tower 1. I realize there hazmat events but I have yet to have any and given that there so uncommon I felt having a second major fire fighting unit at station 2 was of more use the a Hazmat truck that might be used once every 2 weeks. Plus this gives me a set of Jaws at station 2 for traffic accidents.

Other fire station changes in progress include moving ALS Engines in Station 1 to the Bay 1. Moving BLS Engines to Bay 2. EMS Supervisor 1 and HES parked in rear of FS1. EMS Supervisor 2 and Brush parked in rear of FS2.

I have also created LASD Search and Rescue Deputies which are LASD Deputies with the stabilize command added, and since there is a lack of available equipment that would likley be held on board in real life, I have added the Jaws of Life to the Hummer.

I may work on scripting some standby parking spots for police units as well.

it sounds amazing...in the picture of the lapd station the cars parked there are they interactible? any ways hope you get permission and decide to release them

 Do you enjoy text based role-play? Well if you do come visit ERT and take on the role of a Firefighter, EMT (or Paramedic) or a Police officer. Its a great community with a great group of people!

Well, let me put it this way as the answer is yes and no. All the police units are operational as you can dispatch them if you want, however, at current, there really more eye candy as they do not have officers in them. Theres is no way to do that with out a script. I may look into such a script but first I need to fix the parking for the heavy rescue crane at station 1, and the EMS Captin/Brush at FS2.

With the Hazmat and LAPP... Why not create a mini-firestation where LAPP parks with a hazmat since thats the only area for it.

If you've got HAZMAT there it'd be too easy.

It'd be awesome if you were able to release these, and with a bit of scripting, you might be able to clone the 'FireStationStart.script' script, and modify it for the police station, spawning the vehicles and having the officers in them.

Maybe if you did a collaboration with Hoppah, or another modder, you may even be able to create a control panel for the police station as is done with the fire station!

I would be more apt to store a the water tender or crash tender here, but with FS1 so close as it is, Im not sure that will happen. I may look into seeing what apertures is housed near the port aside from fire boats and see if anything sparks my interested.

Thanks. Hoppah is very busy I am sure. I am just grateful enough he helps me out on little bits of scripting help. I dont know that I will clone the FS control panel or not. I was thinking more or less along the lines of just an initial staffing of the units and should you need more you will have to call from of the map.

I may look into spawning a port cop or two at the port station later today more then likley, as well as see what I can do about the extra parking at FS 2 since they wont park right when there spawned, only when they return to the station.
