I have the same problem. w00d hasn't posted here for ages here, so I decided to release his maps as an .exe (wrote something about that months ago), but I can't even seem to download the files now. Maybe there is someone who'd like to host the New_Freeplay_Floor_v1.2.zip file somewhere else?

I have the files from the first pos because I originally downloaded them when it was released. Which files need hosting?

Only the files which aren't hosted on this forum. I think it's the big freeplay texture only (New_Freeplay_Floor_v1.2.zip). Size should be about 25 MB's.

The download link in the first post works, doesn't it?

Anyway here is another download link.

It's says the file is temporarily not available. Am I cursed or something? :1046276372_bawling:

It should do, but it's on rapidshare so you will have to wait 'til there is a clear slot which usually takes about 6 hours. :(
So now there is no way of download that file. :(
I wish people wouldn't use rapidshare.

It still says:

The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable.

OK. Any other way I can upload them?

Could I upload it with a post as an attachment.

Now it says it unavailable again. Megaupload appears to be very unreliable.

Could I upload it with a post as an attachment.

It might be too big, but as you are a translator I believe you are able to post bigger attachments so it might well work.

You're welcome :)

Forensics, it's too big to upload it with a post. I think you will just have to keep trying the link for it until it works.

I always have the problem with downloading files!
If only people don't use rapidshare and megaupload! But there are not that many alternatives for uploading files.

I got the file.

This is how the installer is going to look like:

As you can see you can only install one of the new maps and not both, because both maps require the same files to be replaced. I still need to make all versions of the maps compatible with the latest version of the Los Angeles Mod, so it will take a while before this is going to be released. I have also contacted w00d. Hopefully, he'll reply soon. :)

Will the map use the new second station from V1.9 and 2.0 or will it keep the old station 2?

There won't be any other changes besides compatibility fixes. It's not my map.

i did what he said to do in the first original post and i still have hoppah's "new la mod map". what did i not do? i didnt delete any old files so im sure that is what i need to do but which ones exaclty? i follwed what his directions said to do and all three files he named are there but no playable map. or do i just need to wait for you hoppah to release it?

EDIT:
I deleted the original 3 files that were in the folder and now my game crashes everytime i try and load the freeplay map. i took the files out of the trash bin, put them back in the folder and it still crashes. ugh! what to do now? after putting them back in, the files now read, "$RFXBFCT.eft , $RJ7U81G.dds , and $RUYBENL.e4m". what did i dooooo???!!!!
