It is one of two USAR vehicles belonging to the London Ambulance Service :)

I might be wrong but my guess was based on London Ambulance Service NHS Trust's board papers from March 31st 2009, in which they are talking about buying 2 Nissan Navara for USAR functions to their new Hazardous Area Response Team :)

http://www.londonamb...ers_-_2009.aspx < link to the board papers.

http://www.ambulance...g.uk/?page_id=2 < website of the HART team that apparently uses the Navara in question.

So you were right but I didn't really class HazMat as USAR.

If you would have said HART...

I found out the USAR function before I found out that it was from HART (and what it was) so I could not have said it before I did :schreiben:

Anyway, here is my picture

In what country can you find those ambulances today (and not when the picture was taken, as it is two different countries :P) ?

The ambulances are equipped with permanent four-wheel drive, studded tyres, engine heater, and tons of other things.

The original article can be read here http://translate.goo...28/&sl=da&tl=en (translation by Google so might not be 100% correct but most of it is translated very well)

And last, I don't think that the 58.000 Greenlanders would say that you are wrong in saying that nobody lives there :holdglass:
And in the southwest, where most people lives, the weather is not that bad, for example is the temperature in Nuuk (the capital) at this moment -4 C (25 F)
