Exactly. DDR mod is set in Germany at the time when the DDR existed It's set in the past.

the ddr mod is a nice mod. i've downloaded it 3months ago there is one mission that is very diffrent than all missions ever created by other modders. if you like old fire,ambulance,police man and vehicles you must download it. the enigneer is in the fie personnel.

Live was not so bad, but (own words from him) David Hasselhoff broke the wall from west berlin with the song "looking for freedom" at '89.

The right history is: Many peoples demonstrated first in leipzig for more freedom (travelling, etc.), and follow more and more east german cities, Michail Sergejewitsch Gorbatschow (SU) was a little (big) helper. Almost every had a job, many peoples was an engeneer, after the fall of wall worthless, many promises to us, but increasingly became unemployed, currency reform from Mark to D-Mark (5:1, after 2nd reform 2001 to euro: Mark - Euro; 10:1).

I have got to try this..I don't know alot of German but I might be able to whim it 
..
I have been collecting DDR things about 7 years now,(what started with finding some DDR coins in my coin collection lead to getting other things)..Collection isn't very big but key highlights are these:
Anyway back to the mod..I have a idea for people wanting this to be in English..Could not you just copy all the sirens,people,and vehicles folders and just paste and replace them into the standard untampered game? I think that might work and would put it in English. This is what I'm gonna try and see how well it works out. If it works ok it will sort of be like a game of the OLD Polizeiruf 110 show XD.
