But are those flares placed on ground or hold in hand?

Those pics are during the night, but i know they use them also during the day.

Yes you are right victor they are placed on the ground.
But I have to say it would be realistic if Police cars and maybe the Fire Engines have them in their equipment! And maybe traffic wests like in the EM3 LA Mod?
However would be great for night accidents or something like that.

@victor: The first pics don't go because were no members or something like that!

Edit: Only for Information Hoppah maybe you try that the flares go out so you don't have to pick them up
and they are like barricades so if you place them on the middle of the Road the cars can't pass!
In my opinion sometimes not so good.

Cool sounds good but don't forget programing it to the people otherwise the vehicles have them with them and they can't use them :P
Edit: A question how much time do you need for release 1.1?

I did a bit of research and i found that firefigthers often use flares too, so Hoppah, when you sayed ''All cars will carry them.'' i hope you were talking about firetrucks too. :happy:

And the police in sweden have these sign when they have a spikstrip or something simulair that warns so you don't hit them..

Hey hoppah !!

I Saw pictures on the internet off the LAPD Dive Rescue, thought maybe you like to see them so you can use it for the mod..
Just an idea :cool:

Didn't know that the police do the dives in the USA here in Holland the fire brigade does that, do you know more about that ?

hei hoppa, why don't you edit a rescue fire truck?
A fire truck with only fireman equipment and if possible, the command for the fireman to change their clothes (nbc clothes, diver clothes, etc...)
just an idea

i have the photo of the truck, but i can't post it.

Hey hoppah, going back to the county coroners' van. I recently moved from not far out of LA. The vehicle is a ford econoline, same as the movie van. The lightbar used on some of the vans is an ORANGE federal signal vista found here : http://www.fedsig.co...ndex.php?id=140, but the lens are not clear they are solid orange, or alternativly you could just recolor the mx7000 to orange. But the blue looks kickass too!!

There is a PDF file which shows the real shape of the vista lightbar, also may now be of little interest but LAPD also have a number of units with the vista.

The discution about the Coroner van is closed, hoppah sayd he wont change it and it is good like it is since i saw how it is so just wait on the version 1.1 :)

This is a very good web site, CHP, i'm sure it will be a great source of information for Hoppah, theres lots of lights bars and siren and others thing like that.

Speaking of flares, the other day something had happened and they shutdown a large part of the road. They had police cars blocking the road and flares all over the place. It looked like this, then a bit later on a State highway administration truck came (it was a very big truck) and it had a trailer sign behind it. it had the possibility of (caution) (left arrow) and (right arrow)

When it is done and Hoppah release it. Put it this way if he stop to answer ever time some asks this question to answer we would never see it. So there is NO point to ask. But you know this and still asked.
