Are you trying to remove the paramedic from the ALS fire engine, or ambulance? Uploaded below is a "patch" that removes the single paramedic for the ambulances. It also edits the default staffing of the RAs when you call them from off map manually. Let me know if it works. The one thing I haven't tested is the police officer's command to call the RA. It's possible that a PM stretcher team and a single PM will be called. If that is the case, message me and I will fix it and re-upload it here.Is it my imagination or have the fire station scripts changed? I was trying to remove the lone paramedic from the ALS trucks but I can't seem to find the bits in the script where they're called from.

no i just have 911 first responders and the la mod 1.8 and nothing extrawell yes, you have different files than the other one you are playing with, make sure you are using the EXACT same files, if you know this person, make sure your CFG and game files match exactly(easierst to use the basic ones) so if you have a submod cam hack, or anything else on it, or else you won't be able to play multiplayer

what if i made it where i had the jaws of life on engine 1 and 2 would that do it????If you manually enter the camera hack information it doesnt effect anything NFK, chances are your friend has something different done to his version of the mod than you do, the MOD FILES must match 100% in order to play together. I have played games many times when I had the camhack and they did not, doesnt matter if that particular thing is there or not. Chances are his buddy tampered with one of the xml documents and/or is running a sub mod.

Hoppah or any one who knows hows, is there anyway to install the LA Mod v1.8 twice so i can have one for multiplayer and one for my personal tweaks
(ex,put the jaws of life on engine 1 and 2 and light changes)

Thanks but that breaks the mod; in the Mod screen the icon has changed to a green spanner and there's some german text that seems to suggest the world is going to end, then it doesn't load.Are you trying to remove the paramedic from the ALS fire engine, or ambulance? Install the mod one time, change it folder name and maybe also change the mod pack name, and install again the mod . and then use one for multi and other for submods etc

Here's how you can do it. Take the LA mod thats currently installed and rename the folder. Then open the LA mod folder. You should see a file named "e4mod". Open it up and change the "mod name" string to whatever you want. Once you have done this you can then install a second copy of the mod.ok thanks

i wasn't really sure where to ask, so i'll just ask here.. how do you use the standby command... i dont see it as an option anywhere

Watch this picture.
On the bottom of the screen in the middle you can see all kinds of buttons (an arrow, HQ, siren symbol, etc.). The stand by command can be found in the same place. It's a grey symbol. It's not visible in this screenshot because multiple untis are selected, but now you know where to look. If you hold you're mouse on the symbols it tells you what they are for.

On a completely unrelated subject. I was going through the command icons and I noticed speedup and slowdown icons. As far as I know, there are no "speedup/slowdown" commands in 1.8. Could Hoppah or somebody tell me what they were (or are going to be) for? See the attachments to see what I mean.

when removing the red car with a tow-truck the patient becomes vissible and when I want start healning him i can`t selct him.
when i place my mouse over him he lights up, but i can`t select him
