LA Mod v1.8 news!

It took a while but I have some more news about version 1.8.
There won't be any new missions in v1.8, but I am busy with improving current features in the mod.
One of the features are improvements to the commands to call additional vehicles.
All cars that can be called by one of these commands have a stand-by command now.
Cars that are on stand-by will act like a parked vehicle at a fire station or the police station.
That means they can be called by one of the commands to call additional vehicles.

Another improvement is that these commands will really call the closest vehicle now, no matter it's on patrol, on stand-by or parked at the fire/police stations.

An even better improvement is that the stand-by command also works in multiplayer and missions!
This means the battalion chief and EMS captain can be usefull in the missions as well.

The final improvement to these commands is that a new vehicle plus crew will be bought when there is no vehicle available after using a command to call an additional vehicle.
This won't work in multiplayer to prevent people from screwing other people by calling 100 cars by themselve.

There is more news about v1.8!
MikeyPI build a whole Cadillac DTS fleet. You will find 5 different versions of the Cadillac DTS in the mod.

This one will replace the original limousine in the game


From left to right:
2006 Cadillac DTS U.S. State Department Diplomat Limousine.
2006 Cadillac DTS U.S. State Department Armoured Diplomat Limousine
2006 Cadillac DTS U.S. State Department Presidential Limousine

The black limousines don't replace any existing car and only the Armoured Limousine will be used in the mod so far.
It will replace the limousine used in the 'VIP Escort' mission.

why did you used the US Marine Corps flag, on the middle
limo, and the US Army flag on the right limo? Is there any reason for
it, cuz you wrote that they are the armoured diplomat limousine and presdential limousine.

alright, I got around to playing it today, and it is THE GODLIEST THING EVER FOR GAMING! Sweet jesus I am so happy with the mod this time around, as usual . Best part is I got the mod downloaded in under 30 minutes Great work this time Hoppah. I take it that the "break" was just suspense for us to get it in the new year? Well done sir. Take an official break. Like, a month or so. You 100% deserve it

One should never make the designer of his work second guess himself. The one in the middle Flies the MC flag because well, I like the MC flag better than the ARMY one! I know Hoppah's mission had a general in it from the Army, but I like the MC flag better thus, it got put on that car. That Particular model of limosine is extremely rare, I have only seen one of them before in my life, the far more common one is the standard looking Diplomatic Limo which is flying Dutch's flag. Do not let it's "normal" appearance fool you, it is extremely well armored, but given Hoppah's mission, I figured he would want something a bit more intimidating, so I made the rare but cool APC limo too. The USA-1 (aka POTUS Limo) has the Seal of the President of the United States of America, not the army flag.... Besides they are setup to where I could put your picture on the flag in 20 seconds if I wanted to:)

those flags look great too bad their so small they would look good on a flag pole

Technically speaking they are large enough on the texture file they are on that you could put them on a flagpole in the game and get away with it:) That is why they are as clear as they are, if you zoom in close on them you can see them pretty well, the Marine Corps one is the only one that is a bit blurred:(

They are traffic cars, you will see the limosine parked around the map sometimes, and the sedan drives through town randomly.
One of the limos should be in the missions now, but they are nt usable by the player.

sorry my bad english i love this game EM4 (911) and your LAMOD but i have little problem i dont find this Cadillac DTS added (sedan and limousine models) where is it.? im blind?

Hoppah, I liked your Firehouse in Emergency 3 a lot. Any chance you may incorporate some of the parts of the station to EM4!! It seemed more city-ish. LOL

did he add the airport to the multiplayer map? i looked at the original multi map and couldnt find it, unless im just blind
