It would be nice if SWAT and perhaps Marines used pistols, who were remodeled as SMGs. The pistol-shootouts in EM is more realistic and userfriendly than the sharpshooter. It's easier to manouver a squad of SWATs with remodeled pistols, than rifles.

in the usa, beat cops have pistols,swat and marines use rifles and smg

Of course, as do they most other places as well. My point was that the "rifle-mode" in EM is akward to use, and it would be easier to have SWAT equipped with SMGs who worked as the pistols do, only perhaps with higher damage or rate of fire.

I think it's possible to make commands that you can use a machinegun same as you use the pistol. The problem is that I don't have good animations, because I think I can't change the animations then (unit will hold the machinegun same as he holds the pistol etc..).
btw. I will start with the Tow Truck and Boat Transporter. The Tow Truck will look like this:

The Boat Transporter will have the front of the model I've made for baz his ambulance:

So, this vehicle will be made up, because I couldn't find pics of a real Boat Transporter. I think they are transported on a trailer in real life, but I can't make that (yet).

I'm also working on the Fire Fighting Airplane and Fire Fighting Boat. I am not going to make new models for those, because that's too much work and both units aren't used much.

You could maybe modify the tow truck your working on that looks cool and would be similar judging by the pic

The Fire Fighting Boat and Airplane are finished.
I've made two pictures:

Hoppah, very sweet but I think on the side of the plane the white part... it could use some text on the side or an sign its kinda empty looking...

Agree with the text Idea,would look cool with some blue lights as well maybe wingtips?But if going for accuracy maybe not.

Im just going to mention, that i n the US, the fire fighting planes are privatly owned. so most does not have any markings. but wow looks great. shame i cant get em4 here

it would be kool to show the car on the back instead of the cover i think some mods in em3 do that and hoppah did you know some em3 mods have traffic cones? i just found out but youres look better

Mod news:
I'm working on a new website, which should be launched soon.
The layout looks much better than the current one.
I am also improving some scripts and I have very cool sounds for my weapons (pistol, sniper rifle, m4a1 and mp5).
I will start with converting the last vehicles from the Emergency 3 version of the Los Angeles Mod soon. Those vehicles are the 2 SWAT armoured trucks and the SWAT water cannon vehicle.
I will also start with the Tow Truck model soon.
So, I still have a lot of work to do but I'm making good progress.

Yes, but not in v1.0. That version will contain new units and commands only.
