I have played EM4 LA MOD on Windows 7 PC before. I got this new pc and trying to run in but it will not run for more than 5 minutes. What happens is the screen will go black or gray then I can not do anything. I would have to restart the PC by unplugging the cable...

And now, when it does run for few minutes it lags so much.  My PC is supposed to be high end and runs GTAV very smooth. Below are the specs.

GeForce GTX 760

 i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60 GHz

16 GB of RAM

1366 X 768 Res

Windows 8.1

When the game does run, I minimized it and checked the memory usage and it only used about 525 MB and whole lot of memory was still available but the game still lags. I have tried different resolution but no solution. It still lags for the time it runs and then crashes the whole system.

Thank you

Are you playing with mods and have you tried running as Admin first?

I guess better late than never applies here, but if you're issues are not resolved try providing the DX diagnosis to us for your machine.

Windows key+R

type in

dxdiag

run

once it is done compiling press the "save all information" button

Once you have that saved to your desktop or somewhere else handy, come back here and make a post using the "more reply options" button and you will see "Attach files" at the bottom of the posting window, attach the DX Diag and we'll look at it and see what you've got going on.
