hi guys i have Emergency 5 with the latest update on dvd not the steam version, i have also the nl modification mod, but i can't install it, the only mod i can install is unlimited units mod. It with not shown when i click on add mods. He is only visible when i select all files, but is not available.

 

Nederlands; Hoi mannen ik heb Emergency 5 met de laatste update op dvd niet de steam versie, ik heb ook de nl modificatie mod, maar deze kan ik niet installeren, de enige mod die ik kan installeren is unlimited mod. De mod is ook niet zichtbaar als ik op add mod klik. Hij is wel zichtbaar als ik all files selecteer, maar dan komt hij er niet bij te staan.

The mod isn't working anymore since the last EM5 update. it shows this message and after skipping the message you won't get any missions.

I am sure that this could very well go for a SixteenTons respond to our above mentioned issues:

a friend of mine said perhaps the reason is cuz this mod gives weapons to police officer, and with the new update they changed the police officers. they might cause problems?

As I am sure that the game developers won't fix this problem:  "Once the rockets go up, who cares where they come down... - that's not my department."  ;)

 

But, I am just as certain that FrozenOne-94 will deal with it.

 

Let's just hope that we'll hear from him again shortly!

Hi guys,

 

As you all may know by now, EMERGENCY-5 has been updated to EMERGENCY-2016 v2.0.1.

 

I had some sincere hesitations about the purchase of EMERGENCY 2016, since the software update inside EM-2016 (v2.0.1) was also released for EMERGENCY-5, and I was reading on the forum at the same time that our Dutch MOD stopped working after the update was installed. But, as I purchased EM-5 earlier this year through STEAM, I could not prevent to have the update installed since STEAM does this automatically for you - no queastions asked! So, there it was, and there was nothing more left for me to do then to decide to purchase EM-2016 as well (through STEAM), while hoping that the installation of EM-2016 would fix the problem with our wunderful Dutch Mod. Well, too bad - it did not. Still, I am convinced (as I stated yesterday on our forum) that FrozenOne-94 will fix this problem. So, for now, not being able to play the Dutch MOD anymore, I comfort myself with the thought that EM-2016 might bring me one or two extra games although I know that (with the v2.0.1 update) Em-5, as well as EM-2016, bring in the same new very nice gameplay features. Also, when you start up EM-2016, you'll find the menu option to play the EM-5 levels as well. But to be honest, I am NOT convinced (yet) that EM-2016 really is a "must have" to keep on playing with EM-5. For me, and maybe for most of us, let's just wait for the "MOD fix" that FrozenOne-94 should provide, and sincerely hope that he is able to make us all very happy in the very near future.

 

That being said, I agree with you all, that this update should have been for free. Should you still consider to buy EM-2016 after all, I do know that STEAM allows you to buy this game now with a shaming   :blush: 10% discount http://store.steampo...tab=NewReleases on its original price (€ 39.99): € 35.99. 

 

Although, I am NOT really certain about this, I DO am afraid that the second discount offer is only for those who purchased EM5 through STEAM earlier this year. So now, STEAM also offers its EM5 customers a 85% discount http://store.steampo...com/app/404920/ on its original price. EM2016 would then "only" cost you: € 5.99.  :stupid:  

 

Be advised however: the 85% discount offer only stands for the next 22 hours:mad: 

 

All this, for what its worth...

Hello.

i have downloaded the new version of the dutch modification pack, only when i start the game he give a error: "Fatal error in event pool structure, please check the log for more information".
 
i have copy the log and show it under this spoiler.

That's the problem we are all facing. All we can do now is waiting and hoping for FrozenOne-94 to take care of the problem and having his MOD working again under the v2.0.1 update.

Please, post your messages in English.

 

Installing the NL MOD in EMG 2016 is the same way as you probably did in EMG 5. It's just that, since the updates (v2.0.2 now) the MOD does not work anymore in either of the games. You just have to be patient untill FrozenOne fixed the problem,,,

All mods at this point have been broken.  16 Tons have changed several things and the mod file structure.  I have been working to try and figure this out.  Everyone at this point will have to sit back and wait to get things back in order.  It seems that they have made it a requirement to have a .svn folder inside the mod and that requires a repository folder.  This was not the case before the most recent patch.  

 

All the mods are now in the wrong format and for mine most of them will cause the game to crash.  Even a simply lighting mod has crashed the game for me.  

 

Hopefully Frozenone will be able to get back and work on it some.  

 

I know that a few of us are working to try and get some new things into the game BUT when each update forces us to learn all over again with no support it is getting really frustrating.

 

I have been working on getting my lighting mods to work with the newest patch and when it is fixed they will be available once again for download.

All of the mods except for Dutch mod still work for me.  Granted, now your lighting mods are more laggy, they still work.  The unlimited units mods still work, and they haven't crashed the game for me at all.

However, ItsLeandro that reported yesterday that he managed to have his "Unlimited Units Mod" adapted and work again with the v2.0.2 SixteenTons software update (http://forum.emergen...nits-mod/page-2). I installed his update and it worked; although NOT inside the NL MOD unfortunately. To see the UUM-MOD working, I had to deactivate the NL MOD first, for the "simple" fact that the NL MOD has not been adapted yet to the v2.0.2 update.

 

Maybe it's a stupid suggestion, so please don't shoot me over this - like I said many times before: I don't know anything about MODDING, Would it be a good idea to check out your "problems" with ItsLeandro to see how he fixed it? Then again, my suggestion might be like comparing appels and oranges,  :mellow:

 

Nevertheless, I am certain that eventually you'll get the job done.  :12:
