There are already a few other LA mod expansions doing this. Xplorer's mod and others..
I think I should finish replacing all the cars, that way when I get the objects set from bama (and hopefully Dyson), the whole replacement pack of everythig is complete and everyone is happy.

Love it. Patiently waiting for the mod.
I'll try to find the time to model/convert some trucks into the game. What trucks has your mod replaced? I see a schoolbus, tour bus and mail truck.

We've got the USPS truck, school bus, GMC Public Bus, Heavily Graffiti trucks, thats about it for now, we're on the look out for service vehicles such as mail trucks, construction trucks etc, but thats if you or someone else delivers some before our release. But yeah thanks glad you're looking forward to it, by far the most balanced we've had a mod thus far and the civil vehicles add the final level of detail to our map to submerse yourself fully into NYC

i think the main thing I'd love to see is garbage vehicles, they're definitely a big need

I'll be sure to do one. Now for the important part: The plan.
The International truck can probably be taken from the USFS Brush Truck since they are the same brand.
The dump truck would have to be made.
The GMC truck can be converted from Driver San Francisco.

Hmmm...school buses? that might not work unless u use the same VO as the fire engines. security vehicles, motorcycles, vehicles with advertisements, U-haul, red Bull truck, etc.

School buses work fine, they behave no different than a MERV class vehicle, as long as the road isnt too narrow they have no problems what so ever.

It may be a cube, but to round the parts that need to be rounded adds polys to it's cube... The underside, tire wells, front bumper clip, and the angles for the sides. Mine for the same type is 1427...

So far, I have the 2 trucks in the previous posts uv mapped. I am at a crossroads on how to proceed. Do the skins myself, which will take a lot of time. OR, send the skins to someone who is capable, can do it quickly and can do textures consistent to the ones already in the mod. Of course, this person will be credited and will receive the gratefullness of the community.
