Can I ask quickly what's the difference between guardia di finanza, polizia and carabinieri?

Can I ask quickly what's the difference between guardia di finanza, polizia and carabinieri?

From my knowledge, guardia di finanza is financial police, polizia is normal, state-wide police and carabinieri are both military and civil police.

That's right. Guardia di Finanza is the financial police but they're also anti-drugs and riot units.

Polizia Di Stato is the state-wide police force.

Arma dei Carabinieri is and armed force that also performs law enforcement duties as a Military Police.

That's right. Guardia di Finanza is the financial police but they're also anti-drugs and riot units.

Polizia Di Stato is the state-wide police force.

Arma dei Carabinieri is and armed force that also performs law enforcement duties as a Military Police.

We have another police enforcement: Corpo Forestale dello Stato... is a land protection agency, that has riot units, helicopters and forest fire fighting vehicles.

A land management agency with riot police seems a bit unusual, we have one in the US but they are a special case. Why does the Italian forest service need a riot unit.

BUT... this last, have only 3-4 vehicles, only for formality.... the officer of CFS riot, are employed for support the official riot squads, of Polizia, Carabinieri and Finanza

 

I know that is very unusual and very useless... cuz one of that vehicles, cost a lot of money, and it will be used only in empy street...

New Ambulances available!
Fiat Ducato model is done, so we made a lot of new ambulances, for Italian Red Cross (3-4 version) and for the other rescue company.
