The mustang pictured isn't used anymore, in fact, they don't even have it anymore. It was captured during a drug raid and used as part of the D.A.R.E program back in the day.

these are usually used here in my town(not the r8 haha) and our Special Forces use some 300hp+ Mercedes ,BMW or Audis,sometimes VW.

And most of the USA just has Crown Vics, Tauruses, Impalas, etc. We don't get the super fancy sports cars.

 

But hey, the NYPD crown vic is still one of my fav cars of all time. I think it looks SOO good.

The UK has maybe like 5 sports cars in their entire fleet, but you'll see them posted time and time again, they're never used so its pretty much the same as US. As for the NYPD CV I love it too, I love the impala more though haha

What used to be my local police force had a Lexus ISF that was used fairly regularly. When it was sold about a year ago, it had 70,000 miles on the clock, so while not all that many compared to other vehicles still shows it did get a fair bit of use.

I have seen this beaut parked up running ANPR in Immingham.

 

Immingham also used to have 3 Protons (the second car) but they upgraded them to 3 of the Vauxhalls.

I've seen the same car responding in Hull as well! I think there's still the 2 Evo X's around with the same markings, and there used to be another BMW exactly the same in the Road Crime Unit.

that bugattis is dutchbugs(a supercarcollector) car. It doesn´t really have anything to do with real police besides the wrap and the lights

BMWs and Mercedes are nice but I gotta prefer the crown vics, chargers, and tahoes.

My department has a few of those ^ with a decent amounts of lights on it, but by far the most badass cop car is :

 

Owned by the Port Authority PD. They also have AARF rigs at JFK and LGA.
