That MICU is so pretty with those lights! And does the orange on the training ambulance means that its a training one, or is it just coincidence?

Today may have been dreary, and I was definitely underdressed for constant rain, but that didnt stop me from doing what I loved, Had I not convinced a photo police car fan to try photographing at Clevelands Peace Officers, I might not have traveled the 50 miles to Cleveland.
Here are my favs from todays event:

Today was a decent day, not as many police cars, but all of them K-9 cars for and police dog event a block away from me, got one of my holy grails(til this week, there were a few of them on my list, the above posted Fairlawn Explorer was one of them) I even managed to unofficially sell some photos to a friend since he couldnt make it to the event this morning, payment was $25 worth of Mcdonalds Chicken Mcnuggets :3 (100 nuggets)
Kent Ohio Police K-9 Chevrolet Caprice by Raymond, on Flickr
Cuyahoga Falls Ohio Police K-9 Ford F-150 by Raymond, on Flickr

I didnt stick around for the main event too long since I find it difficult to shoot fast moving objects, but of the single Dogs I watched run the course, I grabbed a decent shot:
Akron Police K-9 Challenge 2015 by Raymond, on Flickr
I didnt check the photos til I got home,
This gave me the confidence to attend the event next year and stick around for the whole thing, I will try with my longer zoom lens< i want to get more shots of them going through the car window.

65 miles of round trip travelling took us from Akron to Massillon to North Canton then to Hartville
Starting off with the shots from Massillon:
No one was at the front desk so I elected to shoot from the publicness of the sidewalk right next to the entrance to the police parking lot, Notice: please do not enter a fenced in police parking lot without permission, there is a decent chance you will be allowed in if you speak to the supervisor in charge inside the police station.

Brand new vehicle

We stopped off at the local highway Patrol post in North Canton, they were not willing to let us into the police vehicle lot but did offer to drive a vehicle around, but they did not have what I was looking for there so we left(I was looking for a new 2015 Tahoe)
Then off to Hartville:
Hartville did not have a fenced in lot, an officer did come out of the station and was interested in what we were doing, we had a please conversation, he enjoys the Explorers more than he did the CVPI's.

Nice units. I usually only get pictures of police cars at parades or when they're within walking distance of a fire station.
