Garner Rescue 1 is nice. I like the little nozzles on the bumper of Pumper 45, too. It looks like those can be for brush fires...

That's actually what they are for. If the crew were to get into trouble and get surrounded by fire all they have to do is turn those on and drive out.

I believe and i could be very wrong on this but it has also gotten a lot of people into serious trouble. They would turn them on and actually drive into the fire. This would have been a lot time ago mind you.

Yeah I just remember seeing something like that before. The brush truck had a little sprinkler system on the bumpers for small brush fires.

Police braced themselves for an EDL march in central London today. Overall quite a few arrests were made and things did get a bit heated between EDL and UAF (missiles thrown etc)

We had our Memorial Day Parade here today. I live in Menasha, but the Neenah and Menasha cities are basically almost 1, a few years ago they merged their Fire Departments (but not their Police). Here are some photos from today.

Totally agree they were the ones causing the trouble yesterday. They only ever march against the EDL/BNP but never against those sharia law nutters who say things like "British people go to hell". Thats fascism as well isn't it?!

Also, they are so passionate about being against fascism they try and deny you your right to speak/protest. Mad. Anyway, I just laughed at Neenah Police Car, I thought someone was taking the p*ss :D - The OC-D

From a couple of days ago, police transferring one of the Woolwich killers (Michael Adebolajo) to court which involved an armed police convoy

Note the armed officers are not from SCO19, but from SO14 (Special Escort Group)

And here is a video I got of the convoy, note the armoured Mercedes Sprinter, which is one of the rarer Met police vehicles used for "Category A" prisoners.

Ah, would explain why there aren't the yellow 'ARV' circles on the cars and they have the circular roof marking as opposed the asterisk. - The OC-D

Interesting, I didn't know they used standard siren tones there. I thought the UK used the two tone.
