I take my camera wherever I go incase anything comes up and if I have time I hang around a busy road and wait. I was on a school assignment on the day so I got pretty lucky.

Really nice emergency cars there in Great Britain.
But why has the most em cars with white lights in the front of the car?

if you mean the white on the lightbar thats just a protective plastic casing, the bulb is actually green as the vehicle carrys a doctor, and a doctor responding to calls by law has to have a flashing green beacon. however a lot of vehicles are now using white leds as they are more visible.

I'm sad that everyone has moved over to battenberg, I remember when everywhere had a unique livery: Hampshire, TVP and now the Met's finally lost their Jam Sandwich I don't think it's really necessary for urban use, sure, keep it on the traffic cars but the IRV's can stay orange

it kinda is a shame but battenburg looks sweet but i will miss the "jam sandwhich" the battenburgs being chosen over the other liverys becuase its more visible

I'll miss the jam sandwich too, however theres a few new 62 reg Astras knocking about with the jam sandwich...one of which I found today



And later, there was a pipe burst in Regent Street flooding the area, causing shops to be evacuated. Very heavy and swift response from the fire brigade and police.
