It was our village gala today, and they had a fire engine set up for viewing, which was awesome.

I took this last night with my new camera. it's not a great shot, but decent enough to share. Hopefully I can grab some better shots later after i play with the settings more.

I've been doing a lot of photography for our department while waiting for a Firefighter I class. So, I figured I'd add some more photos from my collection.

I think the ones they were given for testing have stayed, and a few more have been delivered. They should have a full fleet by later this year, but damn they look nice.

Busy day today, was lucky enough to see the US Vice President Joe Bidens motorcade passing through Trafalgar Square, an impressive sight!

Posted Image
Special Escort Group Range Rover

Also - a movie was being filmed in Whitehall so traffic was being controlled by R/T Police

Posted Image
New DPG BMW X5 parked in Trafalgar Square - the officers went to the aid of an elderly woman who had fallen, a nice action by them, nice car too!

Posted Image
City of London Police Ford Mondeo, slightly off patch

Posted Image
And this vehicle, I am unsure of the role, could either be CBRN, Marines Policing or Bomb Squad...

Posted Image
Finally, an LFB Dual Purpose Ladder from Paddington on patrol past Whitehall

Hope you like them :)

Definatly not a group carrier as the back was caged and there was noone else inside apart from the two officers at the front - plus its a 4x4 so must be some sort of specialist vehicle.
