It's a patch, not a new version so take what you can get... Detectives in the "normal" 911/EM4 ver don't have any real purpose other than to be dressed in crappy suits, since we've not yet developed a Deluxue map... Pointless to waste the time on anything like detectives.

Such ingratefulness, next time we do a patch for the mod we won't bother adding new features to it since they're just not quite up to par...

I very much appreciate your time and effort to keep this game not only alive.

With this new mod and the now released patch you even extended the game play and made it so much more enjoyable.

Thank you very much.

hey ny mod makers, i have a suggestion, in the next patch(if one) you should make a flight nurse on the life flight helicopter. maby the nurse could treat the patient 2x faster than the paramedics. :cheers-mate:

I have two things on Med Evacs in this mod. First, with a hospital about every 5 minutes from every location in the city and no good location for them to land, med evacs are rarely used, as in basically never. In terms of switching the med evac from NYSP to Life net 7-4 or "Air 2", NYSP Life Guard 18 is closer than air 2 to the city and life net requires a 100' x 100' LZ at all times and any object 25' tall must be an additional 50' from the LZ, any object 50' tall must be an additional 100' from the LZ and on and on, and I don't know any place where that exists in the city.

I can land there *ponders mission mikeypi crashes helo he stole trying to land in street!

In the end the helo that is a medivac is more or less for the orig mission pack, in the mod it is pretty much obsolete, MERV for big incidents, ambos for baby ones... Some people like playing with the helos though and in the end someone said that the NYPD 412 does medical crap along with everything else it does... Might make a version of it into a medical helicopter... We'll see on that front. The fake NYSP helo was just so you could actually do the missions successfully since sometimes you do need the helo in the orig missions, where in freeplay I don't think I ever have used it in any mod other than when I was being impatient and didnt wanna send an ambo.... That's just me though.

yeah. in a major metropolitan city you would never call a helo lol! the only place they really get used extensively is hospital to hospital transfers and picking up bad traumas from rural areas!

I had the opportunity to play a little bit last night. Great job with the unmarked cars. There's so many different variations, it's mind boggling.

Hi Guys,

just Downloaded the mod and am very impressed. You have done some fantastic work  .

One thing I noted with the Dodge Charger Highway Patrol, when deploying the redirect lights, the flashing lights are missing.
This may only be my version, I guess, but I took the liberty of putting some in - they are not perfect (alot of guesswork with the positioning) but seem to be alright in game.

If you would like me to throw you the prototype file to have a look at, I would be more than happy, either way you might like to look at that for the next patch (or not).

Great job

Shane

You guys are awesome!! I've been playing the game and I love this mod, good job!! One bug I did see is when alarm is sounded, the ladder truck would not get staffed. If I see anything else that is not mentioned, I will let you know.

The "alarm" command doesnt fully staff all vehicles, it is designed under the pretense that all vehicles would not be vacant... Because let's face it most the time you only send one or two out at a time, so only 1-2 need to be re-staffed... So what ends up happening is the spawn location does NOT have enough space to accomodate all the persons necessary to staff all vehicles at once... They'd either get stuck or would not spawn at all... Such is why it is how it is, if you only have 1-2 vehicles vacant they should goto the proper vehicle.
