Don't know if you guys are looking to mod Dispatch like I've seen some mods do, very odd having a Scot/Brit dispatch for the NY mod, haha. But I was just looking for scanner feeds online, and found one for Surrey --> http://ltr.tac9.ca:8...ecommsurrey.m3u Surrey Fire, New Westminster Fire & Rescue, Coquitlam Fire & Rescue, Delta Fire

As far as the 'verbal compliance', I have managed to do that in-game already. There's the straight-up arrest, there's the draw guns and fire ... but haven't tried to figure our the exact sequence, but I have had officers draw guns and (non-verbally) demand compliance I would suppose, and you see the suspects put their hands behind their heads and get on their knees. Can be done ... just gotta add sound FX, hehe.

Great work, I don't have any skills off the bat directly with modding EM4 but if you need extra help on something and the programs are obtainable, I would love to help where I can.

Cheers!

I still have yet to add the stretcher so hopefully that's why she's camera shy...got my can of raid ready cause I hate bugs too.I cleaned up a few of the RCMP officers and added old bcas colours and a visi vest.

Personnel are looking awesome! I like how you included the old BCAS uniforms, I think they look better and easier to distinguish from police/fire.

Best scanning site around here- http://scanbc.com you can listen from itunes.

Also if you haven't already reskinned the FBI, it would be cool to make them like Gang Task Force or somethin :D

thanks,I prefer the old white/blue BCAS uniforms too.I was thinking about the fbi guy too when I dug the RCMP skins out of their folder,my thoughts for him was maybe blue jeans ,t-shirt,BP vest. But the IHIT suits sounds cool too and less to change on the skin.

what are your guys thoughts on paramedic(emt)/ffs from la mod?I would rather keep them strictly fire fighters and rescue tasks and leave the paramedic duties to the BCAS units. That way also you would need to call multiple units not your 1 unit does it all, that get's boring quickly.

Surrey Fire Rescue does do medical calls with BCAS not just fire, my opinion is as realistic as possible but hey it's your mod man.

I mean, there are Paramedics on rigs. But if wanna have it with just firefighters, that's cool too. Maybe have EMTs and then the Paramedics.

Forget all of that,I will staff paramedic(emt)/ff's on the 3 rescue units we have and the remaining engines will be strictly ff's...I forgot about the rescue rigs,I was too busy thinking about skinning a paramedic(emt)/ff.

Surrey fire - Stabilize, assist and escort BCAS.

BCAS - Life support pre-hospitalization care, critical transport and primary health first responders to meet the public's needs.

We'll integrate a dispatch system requiring you to dispatch both services, if not more, to handle a call. For example, a medical distress call will require an engine crew and BCAS ambulance to respond to diagnose the situation.

These will be different from the BCAS medics pictured right? ie ambos will be exclusively BCAS paramedics, rescues will be ff medics. (I guess im trying to say it won't be like LA...)

They will be different from the BCAS medics, they will not look like the LA half fire gear and pants.

here's a few options for the ff/emt,what do you guys think?
option1:half turnout gear either top or bottom
Attached File  option1.jpg   0bytes   112 downloads

option2:all blue uniform,I could use the blue BCAS and change arm patch and it's done and go with white/blue BCAS

I personally am in favour of the Turnout Pants and helmet... Even without the helmet, I think that looks better as it denotes them as Firefighters, not just EMT/Paramedic. If they work for Surrey Fire, they should have bunker pants on, if the work for BCAS, then the bunker pants are obviously no good lol I hope you get what I'm saying... It'd help them stand out as Fire, not BCAS...

BCAS will be totally separate and have their own skins(no turnout gear) I'm just looking to change up the ff/emt from LA mod that had the brown turnout jacket and blue uniform pants.

I am starting to sound a bit of a nag lol but in past experience working as s career member we never used to put on our bunker gear for medical calls unless it required to go into the mud and muck. It was normally just our uniform. All the city departments are doing it.

But turn out pants and a helmet works too.

We wear our Buker Pants and Helemet due to good ol' NFPA Requlations on wearing a helemt in the rig and the pants were due to getting a second fire related call after the medic

I fully understand... over here in 'Worst-Case-Ontario,' EMS is a third agency. Fire, Police and EMS are all seperate entities... except Ontards EMS is all run at a Regional/County level.. Where I am, it's Niagara EMS, and they look more like the Cops as far as a uniform goes than they do fire.

I understand what you mean, I'm just sayin' that from a future-mod-player stand point, I'd rather have the Firefighter Medics in Turnout pants than in just their station uniform.. it'd be a bit easier to identify them in game as Fire, and not EMS... Plus, as Merritt said, if they get, say, an auto fire while returning, they'd be f*cked.... lolol
