haha I just made a downtown ambo for a laugh ;) nar me and rafael worked on it, there will be a Presbyterian ambo e-series too :)

:laugh: I believe the correct term is "all y'alls"... but since we're talking about a FDNY mod, maybe it should be "youse guys".

That Downtown Ambulance is an awesome Type I.

Sorry to say it... And i know many will shoot at me every time you see me... But, i think it is a sort of "mechanical"; it havent had the spice of a emergency dispatch or call... The dispatcher seems to be awoken at 3am from bed to send a car to an accident full of drunk people. Sooooorry... Thats my feeling :sorrysign:

Well we used a text to speech program as we didn't have any new yorkers handy haha. But it uses actual fdny codes, which was the main point :) it is optional of course :)

Real dispatchers, at least in our area don't get excited when dispatching us anyhow, its their job not to get excited. So I dont see an issue with it.

I agree it's not an issue, but you can definitely tell the difference in a dispatchers voice when they dispatch an MVA if it's a roll over with entrapment or a "you put a dent in my fender and now I need to get your info" MVA.
