13 is an unlucky number. Don't pick 13! lol
I do like 15 though, that was my baseball number in high school

Dyson, will there be a limit on the number of vehicles aloud onto the map? if yes then could you tell me how to get rid of it, I hate that.

Thanks

Greg

Post Script: Will there be a HAZMAT/Decon unit? And RAC, HAZ Tac ambulances, etc?

If you're not doing the new tower ladders, I vote for ladder 45 too.

I prefer ladder 15.
Dyson, will trucks or cars move without people inside?
I think it isn't realistic like in L.A. mod there cars can move without people inside.

If I may, I'd like to interject a bit on the apparatus selection - will you have any generic units to call from off the map? I know a lot of times when playing other mods, I'll have 2-3 fires going at the same time, and it looks stupid if you have the same trucks at all the fires. This way, obviously your current apparatus would function as a battalion, providing coverage for this fictional section of the city; any additional fires in this map would call the next closest battalion. So essentially, all you'd need to do is add a generic battalion car, engine, and truck, and we could call as many as we need without duplicating actual companies on the map.

Post Script: Will there be a HAZMAT/Decon unit? And RAC, HAZ Tac ambulances, etc?

Haz Tac was in the previous version, but it served very little purpose, just seems like one of those trucks thats added just for the sake of it, our ambo choices are..

Presbyterian
Downtown Ambulance
FDNY standard

I think 3 options should suffice.

@Whoever mentioned generic units...
I did originally plan on this and mentioned doing it, however when in gameplay I have got a maximum of 2 fire calls at once, the already available units were enough. Remember we have 3x Ladder Trucks (although one does not function :P ) 3 (maybe 4) x Engines, 1 Satellite, 1 Battalion (with ems batt too).

i voted to and Dyson not sure if this was asked before or answered but when you said when there if a fire in the apartment building that you can use the stairs in you said that there would be a fire alarm light going off but will there be a fire alarm noise going off with the fire alarm light to?

The stair system is encountering some issues, rafael believes he has resolved but of current in my version of the mod the function is not available and no no alarm will be sounded even if we do manage to fix it :)

OK. The only reason I asked is because I try to stick to actual dispatch SOP's, and a box alarm is going to send 2+2, and a 10-75 is going to send 4 engines, 3 trucks, 2 battalion, rescue & squad.

Hazmat unit- nope, to variate the Squad will act as hazmat (else we would have two rescues pretty much haha)
and as for response, check this out, I had a 10-75 Structure Fire, responded with one engine a ladder and a Rescue truck acting as a F.A.S.T response,
the ladder and battalion were first on scene, as the fire escalated I called in E9 and the Rescue was on route. By the time they had arrived the fire was already controlled and within a few minutes it was extinguished. I just think the units provided more than cover the scenarios :)

@Unit42 yeah but then when the fires spread out of control there will be no hope, I much prefer the current gameplay ;)
