The first i want to thank you for making this mod because i think it does improve the freeplay exp in Lamod :D this is a great "small" mod :)

But i have a bug: the chase command for the LAPD Suv doenst work, i dont know if there is anyone more with this same problem, and the water tender is not active but i saw ur fix in the previous posts :P

sorry mate but that's so easy that there is simply no installer needed .....

I assume your best bet would be to dump your whole installation ....after that install LA Mod 2.0 and the two patches and after that is done you should install xplorer's mod ....

by the way ..... the right place to install is within the LA Mod Folder and just copy and paste the extracted files from explorer into this subfolder and overwrite the folders in there

Doesn't work? As in the commands there but faded out? or its not there?
If the command is faded out, it shoudlnt have the command as this likley means the script is blocking this vehichle type from using it, and secondly, I cant really see the LAPD SUV chasing down suspects. If you really want it, just add the vcmdfollow command to the SUV.

now I need to ask you something ..... how the hell do I get the water tender ?

I enabled the vehicle in the XML but it is still not available in the purchase panel ....

did I miss something ? should I have something particular installed ?

Hmm I haven't heard any complaints yet. As far as I know that should be all but let me check. In the mean time check the prototypes folder and models folder to make sure you have the files for the water tender.

Yes, but theres 2 ways to do this.
1) The easy way, no scripting needed. Load the editor, load the mod, load the map(freeplay.e4m or dfreeplay.e4m if you use EM4 Deluxe). Now hit F5. This brings up a list of virtual object for the map/ In the list look for policestation_park04 and policestation_park05. They will be located at the doughnut shop, on the double lane road headed north and south about halfway between the bottom of the map, and the center of the map. It will be on the left side. Now you need to move these 2 VOs to the police station parking lot. Make sure you leave atleast one empty parking spot between each VO. When placing the VOs keep in mind, the cars are scripted to park facing north so i would suggest you put them just across from the current parking spots near the parking garage where most police cars spawn. Be sure not to place them to close to the fence that borders the sidewalk, and not so far into the parking lot that spawning police cars can not get through.

2) This involves the steps above, plus scripting.

Or simply put the cars on the map and make them standby when you start your game lol. Even easier. :D

In that case you should be good to go. The only thing i can think of is to make sure you edit the correct file. If you have 911FR or EM4 edit freeplaybase.xml and if you have EM4 Deluxe, edit dfreeplaybase.xml.

On second thought, see if the unit folder exists.

Possible bug: When I have unmarked cruisers patrolling, they cannot be called by EMS supervisor BN chief, or any other unit, EVEN if they are the closest unit. Same goes with the units parked at the Port Police and Sheriff's. I have to put them on standby manually to make it work.

Hmm I will have to look in to that. The command to call police is actually the same command for the EMS Supervisor and BC. As best as I can recall, I did not edit that part of the script, so it shouldnt be affected, but I am about to load the mod shortly to test out something for the w00ds map submod.

I apologize for being so slow on getting the patch out for personnel to remain in the vehicles at the fire stations, I have just been hard at work on the w00ds map submod.

put the doors where they are suposed to be becuase mine is appearing to be all messed up. also a few vehicles wont park correctly. LRA and SWR. ik u r working on that tho.

i love this mod and hope u keep bringing out more.

Again, define messed up. Are they backwards, wrong doors, no doors? I cant help you if you cant provide details or screen shots(use fraps).

What vehicles do not park correctly? Again...be specific. If your referring to the LRA and SWR only, yes thats in the first post. No point in repeating it.

i love this mod and hope u keep bringing out more.

1 more Work in Progress. 2 more pending after that. ;) I hope to make sure each version is slightly unique in some way and not just the maps.

they doors are off the vehicle and glitched into the car...ive seen it somewhere else on here but idk where...i gtg for now but ill get u a screenshot tomm.

- about the doors on the EMS SUV .......... this is no fault on the side of explorer rather than a known problem - right now I can't recall where you will find the exact solution to the problem but it is here on the forum already posted a hundred times or so

@ explorer - no the water tender is not in the units folder .... so I assume I have to get it someplace else in order to put it there but to my dismay I have no clue where to get it from

right now I also will try to test some stuff to figure out your placing problem of the LRA and SWR after returning to FS1

Strange, the EMS SUV is fineon my end, but this does seem to happen alot with the EMS SUV. The easiest way to fix this would be to go in to the editor, load the mod, find the water tender and click it. Now click edit Dorrs, and delete the doors and readd them. Its a pain in the ass, but I dont know exactly how else to fix it off hand, unless you edit the BC, Click Copy All Doors. Edit the EMS SUV and Click Paste Door. Problem is it will say Battalion 1 on the rear, but I think it says EMS1 on the side windows so theres a way to tell it apart.

@Michealny, in regards to the tender here is the unit folder:

now I feel like an major idiot .... the foam tender is the water tender right ? I did have it there alright but foam tenders are entirely different than water tenders and that is where I figured that I don't have the right vehicle ...

the one I have right now in game is called engine 100 foam tender
