Rescue 7 - What is the point of having this truck if is useless, 2 EMT no stretcher and can't transport injured people to hospital.

You need to add stretcher carrier to each ambulance because you need 1 EMT to threat the victim and 2 EMT to carry the Stretcher. 2 EMT but no Stretcher can only be used in Manhattan Mod because this mod has the 1 man Stretcher (stretcher with wheels) If you add the Manhattan mod in the next patch I be happy to play this mod, but right now this mod is difficult to play as "EMT".

Rescue 7 - The name says it all...it is a RESCUE truck. Use it for extraction and so forth such as HES or USAR. While not an exact match model wise, the idea came from a local department:

http://www.indianafi...x?StationId=389

If you bothered to READ, you would know the ambulance patch does exactly what you are asking for. Playing with 2 EMTs/2 Medics does require some degree of adjustment, but as I said before this gives you greater flexibility untill the time is needed where you click on both Medics/EMTs and choose the get stretcher command.

This is exactly what was being discussed earlier. Running a 2 man crews adds to realism. EMT/Medic + Stretcher crew would technically make it a 3 man rig which is very uncommon any where in the US(can't speak for the UK and the rest of the world but from what I know 2 man crews are the most common staffing of any ambulance). The one man stretcher is something I been considering, Maybe it will show up at a later date. Time will tell.

LAFD does not use HES, LACoFD does. LAFD does not use large ambulances. LAFD does not use a mass causality truck. LAFD does not use the USAR dog SUV. LAFD does not use tower ladders .Guess what? These were all part of the original LA Mod(aside from the Large Rescue Ambulance). Guess you better go talk to the master himself, Hoppah, about those. The fact is these mods are never going to be 100% and the goal of this project was not to maintain as much realism as possible. Some things have been added for that reason, and some of have been created just because I, and others, though they were cool features. If you don't like the mod, no one is forcing you to play it. You can either sit back and enjoy it, create your own LA Mod(or mod), or stick to the original LA Mod.

Oh and FYI, FDs all across the country use "ambulances" for rescue trucks. This is not specific to Indiana. Not saying it is the most common apparatus but not specific to Indiana.

Xplorer4x4 kind of let you off easy because I would of ranted a little more over that comment by telling me how I should of done my mod. Giving a suggestion is much different than saying you don't like it because this is how it works here. So, you say you wish you knew how to mod, it does not take much to learn. Start with understanding the scripts and making small changes and then work on bigger projects. The alterations topic group would be a start because I know I spent lots of time assisting people altering scripts and gave instructions how to do it so has others.

lol yes I did. The "I wish I could mod" statement was the nail in his coffin. That and the very thing he is bitching about with the EMT/Medics is accomplished with the ambulance patch. Ok sorry the patch has a 2 man stretcher crew, but technically they function as one, so mostly it is just an aesthetics thing.

Jesus Christ!

No, he hasn't risen just yet. /lent joke

Haha what you could do is send a engine with the ambulance and have them treat the patient while the guys get the stretcher just a little something I do.

That actually adds a bit of realism. I am not sure on the specifics but I know at least some of the time the Assessment Engines will roll on medical calls. If you had a call in Station 2s district that needed an ALS Ambulance, I believe the normal dispatch would roll the Assessment Light Force from FS2 and then an ALS Ambulance from FS1. This helps them meet the goal of having a Medic on scene in 5(?) Min or less.

Around chicago engines run with the ambulances

I think this is pretty standard around the US. I was just pointing out that in LA it is not abnormal for a Paramedic Assessment Lightforce to roll to a medical call. Around here, some stations only house a quint. So if a medical call goes out, a quint will roll but never a quint and an engine.

Any luck on those easter eggs people? The first two people to find all 4 will get to do some testing :)

More then just new fire apparatus will be coming on my project though!
