At this time I believe cops is still working on the model. Furthermore, I can not make models. I wish I could, because I can do pretty much all the other aspects of modding with the exception of lights.
Progress:
That said I believe just about everything is ready to go for patch 11. I am working on the Battalion Chief Script atm and in all fairness, I am a bit rusty so this could be a bit of a hold up. At a glance though, the fire station staffing should be fixed. I noticed that the YSB patch was not only staffing things differently then I intended, it was not staffing them properly at all in some cases. One example seemed to be that the BC script would dispatch the LED PAE(Paramedic Assessment engine, remember the ALS concept from the original LA Mod is pretty much or full dead) as a BLS engine. Hopefully the BS script is ready to go shortly and the update will be posted in a few hours.
Easter Egg:
I am debating on which route to go here. I am thinking of possibly just placing a small hidden object in game, and for the first X amount of people to find it, you may get early access to other projects WIP. The other possible idea is to include a new unit. This new unit will not really provide any thing new and radical. In fact it may add another step to certain tasks. However, it also adds a hit of realism. The units function would be very very basic for now, and if my line of thinking is correct, can possibly be hooked in to the freeplay events and report to you specific information rather then a generic message which it would use for the time being. The specific info would already be obvious but as I said it adds another layer of realism to the project.
