Thats what i thought too, but when i tested it again same problem and when you look you can see in the vehical description the area where the pic of the person is is all pixisly.

Xtrange... I didnt have that problem, i have applied all the patches posted and my models still in their usual position... :WTF: :12:

First off Thanks 4x4 for the awesome submod. After playing around with the LAtoFirestation script today i think i found the fix around the LRA and the SWR not parking correctly. What i basically did was switch the Virtual Objects around so it looks like the following;

const char VO_LRA[] = "fs_lra2";
const char VO_LRA2[] = "fs_lra";

const char VO_SWR[] = "fs_swr2";
const char VO_SWR2[] = "fs_swr";


Now on the same note after you send out the SWR and send it back to the fire station you don't get the build up of personnel when ever you alarm the fire station, but on another note when you sound the alarm and the LRA is empty you will get a paramedic and two stretchers so you will want to change the LAFirestation script to change the staffing of the LRA.

kharms, thanks for the insight I will look in to this and hopefully it works as you said, and with minor tweaks things will be working normally.

EDIT: Tested this out, and your right it is a work around, not truly a fix per say, because personel do not leave there vehicles. I might try to tweak this a bit and see what I can accomplish. Thanks!

its fine no wories I was just checking out all the units and playing around and having fun and i noticed that and thought it would be good to so you know. Even with that slite problem its still a great sub mod great work

How exactly would you put in the path to your desktop?

Theres no need for any more then 3 drop down options, unless EM4 Gold install to another place.

Could you provide some information as to exactly what the problem is? Are you getting an error message? Are you selecting the proper option from the drop down but it still says failed or something? You really havent given any insight as to what the exact problem is other then it does not work. If you use the zshare link from the first post, you can install this with out using the installer.

I believe the problem in my case may be that my Hard Drive Is D:\ Not C:\, but basically when using the installer and selecting the version I have, the writing to the right which says "Select Directory" Turns Red with "Invaild Directory". However I will use the Zshare link as i had thought they would likely have the same installer

I also have a problem with the installer. My games are install D:\Games\ the game folders. Last time I update I used the installer free version and unzipped and re zipped.

First off dont triple post, secondly dont quote a whole post for no reason. Three, edit your posts.

As for your problem, sounds like you edited LaFireStationSTART. Only edit LAtoFirestation script and it should work fine.

I think this is the best submod for em4 la mod ever it makes it 2 times as good. The only problem i can think of is: The lapp cars you have to buy them like order them they are not on the regular units so that is a downside. but otherwise awesome submod. :police: :mug:

I use pretty much everything else. Even rescue 7. I find it's easier to send that to most emergencies since it's a little smaller and it's staffed with firefighters.

Now hear me out on this.....

I would prefer to staff the rescues with firefighters rather than the USAR. You can send the rescue to a fire and have the personnel inside pak up for interior work. You can't do that with the USAR. I know all i need is to change a few scripts in order for that to happen, but it's something to think about when you're making your units.

Also, since I use rescue 7 like that. I'm certainly looking forward to a parking fix for it.

@First Responder, theres an easy fix for that if your interested. You wont have a problem with that next submod. ;)

Now hear me out on this.....

You say it like im going to yell at you. I have absolutely no/none/zilch problem with feedback positive or negative, so long as its constructive. If it were, "this submod sucks," then I wouldnt be to happy, but if it were "Sorry but this submod sucks because, this that, and the other," cool. Im fine with that. Cant please everyone all the time.

Very easy fix for that. Well work around is more like it. It will park correctly, only problem is staff do not exit the unit. Now some people prefer that option anyways so for some it wont make a difference. I might put up a fixed script later. I just dont want to put a patch out yet because I have a numbering system in place for the versions and it looks like there were more bugs then I realized at the time of release so I have had to put out more patches then I intended. As stable as things are id prefer to have more bugs to fix before releasing an official patch.

Have been playing you submod ver 2.0.8 and the only suggestion i could perhaps make that you could include in you Woods submod is the inclusion of a police captain of some description to respond specialist police resources (bomb squad and such).

Oh and the Tiller seems to work much better than the straight LA mod
