im not responding to any of theabove but just saying i did see somewere on this site a complaint about lapd & chp not being able to take suspects to the station
this is most likely due to the fact that all parking positions are full and you will send the patrol unit back to HQ in order to get rid of the suspect .... to be honest I am not quite sure how this was within the regular LA Mod .... on the other hand I could not care less , because my " take down units " and my " transport units " are separate and hence I don't run into this problem
one thing more I would like to say .... the xplorer mod runs very fine , unless people start changing things around without the proper background knowledge

I tried copying the original LA Mod folder, then applying the mod I wanted and renaming it, but that doesnt seem to work. In the modifications tab in the game, all it shows is this mod.

This might sound like a crazy question, but there are quite a few submods I would like to try out. Is it possible to have multiple versions of the LA Mod? I.e., one regular 2.02, then one with this submod applied, then maybe one with the SG mod.

just renaming won't work.
but you can try it by editing the: "e4mod.info" file(open with notepad).
There you will see the name for the mod in the game.
change the line:
(example)
<mod name="LA MOD V2.02"
to
<mod name="LA MOD V2.02 4x4"
perhaps that will work for you.

Yes... U can... I have 3 versions of LA MOD installed on the mods folder...
1. 4x4 SMod
2. Virgin Copy of LA MOD for testing (for not to mess something)
3. Version for Multiplaying
As well as a 4 version of LA Mod mixed up with 1.9.3 SubMod

You can edit the unit.XML for the LRA to change seating capacity. Look in /mods/la mod explorer/units/ambulance for the LRA folder.

I agree with you, the LRA (or LRT i guess) should be at FS2. It makes more sense to spread out the rescue equipment. Or maybe place the other rescue truck at FS2 (not the USAR or LRT the other one)

The 'LRA' can't fit inside the station, and there is hardly any room left FS2, and seeing as how you can use the... what is it... LET(?) whats the point? The LRA is to assist the USAR when there is a medium to large medical... IE more than two cars.I agree with you, the LRA (or LRT i guess) should be at FS2. Does it always do this? Or just this once? Can you test it out again if you've old had it once? It might just be a load glitch on your part.Hey i was playing and i called the ATF truck and this is what it showed for the units.
I am currently trying to install v2.07 and the installer is throwing an "Invalid Directory" error, I've tried loading it from the Wizard works folder and my Downloads folder and it is making no difference. any help would be appreciated, I have 911FR and am selecting that option
Have you tried installing it to your desktop then copying the files over and overwriting to the location you want to install it in?
