Over the last few patches (5-7) I've noticed when trying to get the Bomb Robot from either the SUV or Truck the Bomb Tech gets the commands, but no robot spawns.

I did a fresh clean install just today to check it wasn't anything with the mod installation I had, and it still seems to be that way/

Are you clicking on the truck? The bomb tech will not get the robot out automatically like with the jaws. Maybe I will look in to it in the future.

i noticed that also but works now..... and 4x4 what file did u change to make the other 2 police choppers go away?

yeah did that and enables everything but those two items.... dont worry ill eventually figure it out just wondering if u knew a better fix :)

ill try that too i just added it in the specs folder and no luck but im going through what should make it work. thanks for the advice

I just noticed, in the reuploded file, there is no tow truck in the menus to buy or dispatch any longer. How do I fix that?

Redownload the main submod zip. I included all the units files in there.

It was no bug :P I kept right clicking on the vehicle instead of left clicking which did something wacky.

On the first page you have a police station port, but I do not have in the mod.


You do, but you need to buy the LAPP (White Crown Vics) and click the send to station button.

Would there be a chance you could release an alternate script for people who LIKE the vehicles to empty when they come back? I feel it adds a sense of realism. I mean, what department lives out of their trucks when they have a whole station?!


You can toggle the Auto Empty Vehicles on the Fire Station Control Panel? Or isn't that what you're after.

ok, so i have the latest release of the submod and the ambulance patch. My computer wont upload the pictures, but Parked in the police station is this metal cage/ crate looking thing that acts as a car. I have also seen this "cage" driving around the city. I dont know why it does thins but does anyone know how i fix it? I thought i downloaded the submod fine...but i guess not. And second, I read that xplorer said the lapp cars dont spawn to their station,but i thought the lapd cars and lasd cars were supposed to spawn at their stations at the start up of the game. Anyone else have any of these problems? like i said, im sorry but my computer just doesnt want to upload the pictures for some reason

By default the vehicles should empty.

With out a screen shot is hard to say, but this sounds like a missing modfile or missing prototype. Can you read the box and check for sure.

I have already stated there are no police set to spawn at the beginning of the game. I said I might do it later in a limited form like a SWAT Truck or two and a Bomb Squad Truck or ATF NRU, but I am not going to spawn a whole lot of police cars.

Added new download link to first post. I suggest every one download this to make sure your up to date, and besides that, I made sure all unit names were fixed when you roll over there portrait in the dispatch menu. I havent actually bothered updating the version number since the original file was lost. I had to upload this via rapidshare because of its size. Its much bigger then the original(25 MB vs 17MB) because I included more models and prototypes to try to ensure there were no issue with missing prototypes driving around the map.
