Installed patch 7 last night and so far from what I can see everything is fixed that people have mentioned.

I hate to say it, but Version 7 is totally messed up for me. I have downloaded it multiple times, wiping my cookies and cache each time. Started with a clean install of the La Mod and Patch 2 each time and everything is messed up. I have only two engines in Station 1, I have a Tower ladder parked Longways across the station and the USAR and one of the engines is stuck in place because of it. I have not changed anything in the way I install it. I just don't know what the heck is going on. However when I install LAMOD 2.07 4x4 I do notice that I don't have to overwrite as many files as normal. Xplorer any ideas?? Ever other version has installed flawlessly for me, this is beyond weird.

Sounds like you are downloading the patch only. Make sure you download Los Angeles Mod v2.0.7 4x4.zip not Patch 7.

Nope, I started with the La Mod 4x4 2.07 and just this last time I downloaded the 2.07 and just patch 7 to see if anything differed but still had the same thing happen.

When I move the Models folder over I used to have to overwrite existing files. Now nothing happens, and I just looked in the models folder and the folders are all empty. I never looked in the older versions so I guess I am not sure what if anything is different.

Sounds like a copy and paste issue, and im pretty sure its to do with the map. Make sure to place the freeplay.e4m and dreeplay.e4m from my zip into the maps folder where the submod is installed. It sounds to me like you have the right scripts, but wrong map because it sounds like its spawning on VO_LADDER like it should, but VO_LADDER was moved out of FS1 and moved to FS2 for my submod.

I think your exactly right. I just freshly downloaded everything again. Unpacked the zip file, opened the maps folder and there is only one file freeplay.e4m. There is nothing that says dfreeplay.e4m at all in the maps folder. And I do have EM4 Deluxe and am playing it on the deluxe map.

I've got a question.

I've being having an issue with the battalion chief and ems supervisor in the drop down bars. Battalion chief 2 is called idtooltipbat2 in the drop down bar, and the dodge charger ems supervisor is called idtooltipems2. I'm guessing this is because you've added those additionally to the mod (where they park) I've checked where you insert units and name them but they are named correctly. I've have this problem since patch 2 or 3 I think, and it's still persisting. Anything I can do to fix it? If not it's not the end of the world everything else runs smoothly.


Edit: Pending patch 7 I'll see if this fixes anything.

&looks like you might be right. Im going to hold off on fixing it untill I get an idea of theres nother major bugs.

hi all i just installed 2.0.7 and everything seemed to go well but when i try to load the mod it crashes back to desktop within about 1 minute. i searched through the other topics within this submod and couldn't find any answers... maybe someone might have an idea of what is happening. i unistalled 911fr and reinstalled the original game and hoppah's mods with all updates... please help this is driving me crazy. thankyou

Over the last few patches (5-7) I've noticed when trying to get the Bomb Robot from either the SUV or Truck the Bomb Tech gets the commands, but no robot spawns.

I did a fresh clean install just today to check it wasn't anything with the mod installation I had, and it still seems to be that way/

i noticed that also but works now..... and 4x4 what file did u change to make the other 2 police choppers go away?
