It all depends on how much pressure goes through the hose. Younger people probably can't control it. I think anything is possible with these guys!

i think in most cases though they will have some one backing them up and im pretty sure that the in the city they never handle the attack lines alone

It was with a city department, I am on the Aux. We had a multiple alarm, and I had to pull a line and do exterior attack.

I just had another idea. Say there was a fire or emergency, and when a fire truck got back to the station, it would turn on it's lights and then a FF would get out and back the truck in. Also, will you have a pump panel like a mini-map with an operator?

I was really looking forward to playing that mod. It looked really good. Does this mod feature pike poles and extension ladders that are actually useable?

Already said.

! And how many times has eveyone said specifically this: "Hey guys, I can't wait for the New York Mod to come out!"? :prop:

You've said this more than any person in the existence of EMP in the last week alone.

Same here. I'm headed for FDNY as well. How old are you? Sorry for off topic(Francis)

Your not old enough and already you need to cool off and learn something for once. It's not easy. Don't go in thinking you know it all, or you'll learn nothing and get dropped.

It all depends on how much pressure goes through the hose. Younger people probably can't control it. I think anything is possible with these guys!

"Younger people"? Your not even 13 yet. Don't throw in additional info if you don't know it. Engineers keep pressures in a workable range on attack lines.

Emergency Captain, please, we don't need your 2 cents on everything, cool it down a bit. Anyways, after seeing all these questions and stuff, makes me wonder, what this mod will look like. There is no clear picture, just these little details that all lead up to the larger picture. It'll be good to see what goes on. Good luck!

The tower, tiller, and regular (whatever you call it) ladder can be used in the game. That is a very enjoyable institution in the mod.

an engine can handle more then 2 attack lines depending upon the water supply. pressure really doesn't have much to do with it, gallons puts out the fire, not pressure. also, one guy can handle an 1 1/3th line, its done a lot, cities guys do it too. also, you can drive a tiller without guy in the back, lock the wheels. kills the point of it, but it can be done

First, I believe they said that the maps were actually going to be smaller since there were going to be multiple maps and you can play on each of them in a freeplay game. Second, they said that the units will take varied amounts of time to get to the scene based on where the units are coming from and where the map is. I.E. units from a harlem fire house will get to the map quicker if you're playing on a hells kitchen map than if you were playing on a china town map.

I thought the word was it was going to be 1 freeplay map to start out on V1.0, then they'd work out how the multiple maps would go. Idk though xD

Yes they said 1 map in V1.

Right, but I was saying that to show how the system would work in the future.
