I) don´t know if those creating this mod even reads this thread but...i got an idea for multiplayer script.
Say that you make it almost like the single player mode your making. But instead of one player controling al fire stations in the city. You simple alter the script a little bit so that player one automatichly gets control over one big fire station (one engine, one towerladder, one resque truck and one battalion )and one ambulans station carrying 5 ambulances. player two one smaller fire station (one engine/squad )and a small police station (5-6 patroll cars). Player three gets one midsized fire station (one engine/squad and one ladder truck and 2 ambulances)and enginering units. and player four gets controll over one mid sized fire station (one engine and one tillerladder and 2 ambulances). And if you play only 2 players. Player one also get controll over player threes units and player two gets player fours units. And if you play only 3 players player 4´s units cease to exist for that game since al units already is represented on the 3 first players layouts.

This was just an ideaa on how you guys maybe pritty easy could creat multiplayer options for those that want to play it without putting down to much effort into rescripting...

That would be awesome! But im not sure is it possible to create thing like that, well you just need awesome scripter... But it would be too much if there would be like 4-5 stations! the map is too small for that.
But i dont know anything is it possible or not.

Our multiplayer concept was built upon 2 fire stations on the map. And every player would control only one vehicle, and there would be only one incident at a time. This would've been a whole new multiplayer gameplay style, but we did not proceed working on the multiplayer part. But who knows what the future will show :)

More fires inside would be a lot better. Gives the firefighters with SCUBA on more things to do.

You mean SCBA, SCUBA is for divers.

I Hope this mod includes that in freeplay, there can only be one mission at time. Bechause its annoying that there is like 2-4 missions to do!

That's all their is in this mod, freeplay.

It would be awesome if there would be more fires inside buildings.

You can't change that, the game is hard coded to just light a random thing on fire when the fire event comes up. That's why the game'll tell you there's an electrical fire, and it's a tree on fire.

Of course you can change that, and that's just what we did. We wrote our own incident-trigger-scripts to make it work. You won't be called for an electrical fire if a tree is burning :)

You'll play a tutorial before starting a new game for the first time.

Never under estimate the scripting skills of Tim. He can do anything. :O

And thank god that it's fixed too. It was kinda annoying. Good job.

What I should have said is that people who have no modding experience and aren't modding gods can't do that. :gut:

It's a "Prototype Model", that means... its not finished with all of its details... you'll get a Screen of the finished truck next week, when i've decided which CO is the lucky one to be included in our mod with this model ;)
