Exporting sketchup files to .v3o format

How to export free Sketchup files to .v3o (emergency 4) format. Fully legally without needing any payware software.

Make sure you got the following programs: Sketchup Free, Zmodeler 2 (Unregistered, I have 2.0.8 don't know if it works with other versions) and Rhinoceros 4.0 Evaluation

Step 1: Save your Sketchup file as .skp
Step 2: Open Rhino, import the .skp file. export as .3ds
Step 3: Open zmod, import the .3ds file. export as .v3o

Thats it

I use Zmod 2.0.8. don't know if it works for other versions. If it can import .3ds and export .v3o it works.
Make sure your model is not skinned in sketchup, do it in zmod.

Note: I have tried it on a newer version. For that it does require you to have the registered version. So I really reccommend you to download 2.0.8 of Zmodeler 2.
Also if you can't find it on the Zmodeler 2 website. Use this link: This one!

Note: This will NOT work if you have applied a skin in Sketchup. You may ONLY skin the vehicle/building/person/object when they are in .3ds format (which is importable in Zmodeler 2)
