I recently upgraded my PC from windows vista to windows 7 and Emergency 3 worked fine on vista, but does not seem to work on 7. i get an error message that just says "em3 has stopped working". i tried to run it on windows XP settings and still the same thing... any ideas?

Can you please post a logfile and dxdiag. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?

I think this is your problem.
Please make sure you have the latest video drivers installed for your 3D card.
Have you updated your cideo card drivers recently? If you have you could try downgrading them to an older version from 2007/08.

I think this is your problem.

Please make sure you have the latest video drivers installed for your 3D card.
Have you updated your cideo card drivers recently? If you have you could try downgrading them to an older version from 2007/08.


unless it came with my windows 7 then no i haven't updated any drivers

how can i do that? can i download them or do i have to buy it?

He just told you that he did NOT install any drivers himself...

I'm using a net book as we speak and had the same problem, you need to run it in saffe mode and install it with no videos.
I thought what I'd do was pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.
