I installed 911 First responders on my dad's computer and the sounds work. I guess I will play on my dads computer until i can get the sounds to work here. They all sound great, thanks for this add on.

I use XP. It said.....

Tactics got it exactly.

The police have dual sirens, or some do, some don't. It just depends.

For some reason I can only hear the Ambulance sirens in the game, the Fire and Police sirens do not work in game. Any help?


I have the same problem, have u resolved thta problem? I tried to reinstall the mod but I still have the problem...anyone can help me?

Did you use the installer?
If you did try reinstalling them again. If they still don't work then install them manually.

I have the same problem, i can only ear the siren of ambulance and ATF..........please help me; I have emergency deluxe and Ive installed the mod with manual download as with the exe didnt' works.

Did you use the installer?
If you did try reinstalling them again. If they still don't work then install them manually.



I already installed manually as with the exe file doesnt work......any idea?

I like all of these, i was just wondering if you could post a sound bite of the new station alarm tone?

Don't want to install it if i'm going to hate it every time i get a fire dispatch :P

You can play all the sounds through windows media player. Just simply open fire_alarm.wav in the resources/misc folder. :)

Hmm.. the audio files are in the correct format so I am currently unsure why they aren't playing.

If you go into the siren folder (\Audio\Fx\sirens), can you play Siren01 and Siren02 through your media player?

If you can then it will be the format that is effecting them playing in game. If you can't then the file is corrupt.

I will try and get this bug fixed for the V1.0 release.

Personally i hate Siren06 ;/

Those sounds are like from some 8bit game ;/

So, what is it the fire fighters do? Do they wait a block away before going to the station to get the truck? Nope. 10 or 12 guys go into the Station, put their gear on, and 6 of them jump in the Pump. The rest, they stay in the building in case they need the Rescue. So, Pump 1 responds from 119 Bertie St to 119 Bertie St, but, they have to follow protocol. So, they drive around they block, and stage at the corner, waiting for police to clear the building they just left.

Their good and stuff, but, especially siren 02, 04, and 06 are not used in Los Angeles. I have my own sirens for those, if you want them, just pm me, their private. 03 is iffy, considering that the first part is used, but the 2nd half isn't common. Siren 1 doesn't get a high-enough high. Siren 05, out of all of them, is the most realistic. I agree on siren 06.

Thank you for your input.

As you may know, I started working on Project Reality Lights half way through this project. The BETA, which included 01, 03, and 05 was the sirens I put a lot of time and effort into.

I put more effort into the light mod during the creation of the other half, and I'm currently unsure if I will continue to run this mod or not.

Making lights is a lot more exciting than looking at sound waves, but I guess someone has to do it.

The only siren that dosent work is the real Q, the other electric Q works but the real one dosent, thats the one I want the most.

Your good at it, and I could see how lights would be more interesting. I'd do it, but, I don't have the software to make good sirens.
