The police siren I'm not in love with, it sounds like there are multiple sirens within one siren.
Yeah, just to let you know in real life, that is generally how its done, I know a good deal of police officers, who love to jerk around with the manual and will go crazy with it most of the time even if its for something as minor as clearing an intersection, I mean have you ever seen a copy going code 3 to a call, they never just hit one siren and then let that go the whole way, they usually mess with the manual a good deal as well as the air horn.

I use XP. It said.....
Go to where you installed 911FR
Go to Mods > Los Angeles Mod v1.9 > Audio > FX > Sirens
Highlight all the sirens in the resources folder you have downloaded (this siren mod) drag them into the siren box and let it overwrite and it will install the sirens.
I had the same problem as you, i did this and it worked.

If you have a favorite siren that you wish or recommend to be added, please feel free to add the ideas here and he will look it over and decide which popular demand shall be added!

For some reason I can only hear the Ambulance sirens in the game, the Fire and Police sirens do not work in game. Any help?
Do you hear the old sirens? If so, run the installer again, if it still doesn't work then use the manual instillation.
If you don't hear any sirens a tall, try and run the installer again, if not, check your siren folder (C:\Program Files\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.9\Audio\Fx\sirens), you should have Siren01 - Siren 06, with other EMS sirens.

NO NO NO....why a .rar???? Couldn't you put only .wav files??? or in a .zip???-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Siren Modification V1.0 BETA!
The first release of the Siren Modification is finally here and it comes with an installer!
It includes 3 sirens, a fire alarm (optional) and an engine start sound (optional).
Emergency 4 / 911: First Responders: http://www.mediafire.com/?yzdxjkljd0t
Emergency 4 Deluxe: http://www.mediafire.com/?nkndkdnznch
Manual Instillation: http://www.mediafire.com/?5uolzml4yzj
NOTE: If you experience any bugs with the installer, you can download the manual installation which only includes the audio files (Make sure you contact me on the bug you are encountering).
You must have the game in the correct directory for the installer to perform properly, if you don't, use the manual instillation.
On the installer, the "Install additional sounds" option will install the fire alarm and the engine start files. If you leave it unticked it will only install the sirens.
To install the manual instillation, simply drag the folders into the '\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.9\Audio\Fx' folder, overwriting the existing files.
The full version will include 6 sirens, a fire alarm and an engine sound. The release date of this is still unknown.

It has also been announced that 'LA Modification Center' will get the official release before it's released to the public. This will give the owner time to upload the files to his server in time for the release.
