no not at all . it gives me the option in the modification tab to choose LA mod but when i chose it the gameplay stays the same ?

You haven't installed it properly, remember LA mod has it's own installer, do you use it?

When i chose the LA mod it self installed and i thought it was gonna work for sure but it did not . Besides i'm not sure on how to install mods in this game anyway

Download the file, double click on it, that will run an installer and you just need to follow the instructions.
Once complete you will also get a desktop icon straight to the mod. :)

Just go to your downloads folder and the file should be there. If you can't find it: Click. Download it again.
Then just follow me steps. :)

oh ok, thanks for all your help friend, its very much appreciated. Is the LA mod the only entire city mod thats downloadable right now?

No problem, did you get it to work?

No there are other good mods. Once the download section is back up you will be able to see them. :)
As you're from NY, you may want to keep an eye on this mod but it's not out yet.

Not yet Im still workin on it . I couldnt find the file in my dl folder cause i think somebody erased the history and stuff . so when i get the LA download i hit download and it will say save and then i think it says run or install , then what ? it will auto install it or somthin? would i hav to do somthin else to it ? like in the game menu or somthin ? sorry for all the questions i'm jus learning all this

Once it's finished downloading you just need to click on the file (Twice) then it will run an installer. Then it's installed and you can load the mod by the modifications menu in game or the desktop icon.

I believe that is what i did in the first place and it did nothing so i guess im gonna have to delete it and re do it .

I don't really know how to explain it better, just play around with it and hopefully it will work. :)

ok . one last question i promise , i'm trying to locate the LA mod again but it keeps saying the server is down . Where can i get it again?

If you use one of the mirrors listed below the patch download then it will contain the full mod.
