I am trying to add a police dog to the Los Angeles mod and need your opinion.

What is K9?
"A police dog is a dog that is trained specifically to assist police and other law-enforcement personnel in their work. Police dogs are often referred to by the term "K9", which is a homophone of "canine", a word that generally refers to dogs and dog-like animals." Source: Wiki

Both LAPD and LASD have K9 units. The difference is in the K9 vehicles.

LAPD K9 uses Ford Crown Victorias:

I'd say LASD, because there are already a ton of Crown Vics in the mod.

Otherwise you dont see if its a patrol car or a dog vehicle XD

Both look good, although I must agree, too many Crown Vics would be overkill :) And the Tahoe looks great :)

Both looks great, but the K9 LASD is the best. :D

I am not creating Bomb K9, but that Bomb K9 SUV will also do for normal K9 (public order enforcement dog) I guess.
Can someone tell the make and type of that SUV? Looks like a Toyota.

I am not sure what the purpose of the white F150 is, Code2High mentions it under K9. Never saw it before.

There is a cage for the dog on the back seat of the Ford Crown Victoria. Dogs are not that big..

Id say both, i like having the choice, if forced then id go for lasd as the 4x4 is cool, and lapd already has a load of stuff in the mod

Im almost sure the white F150 is used for K-9, becouse of the windows on top of the pickup are always used for dogs.

I'm pretty shure the F-150 is a transport for more than one dog, because in the back it does have the space for it, possibly for search efforts where they need more than one dog. Also, LAPD is really the focus with the mod, and I hate to put a damper, but I never use LASD, they are just an annoyance to me, LAPD patroll cars and SUVs work fine for me. :smoke:
Why is it that firefighters are able to run into a burning building while others run out? It is because each firefighter knows that if he can save one life, put out one more fire, then people can keep on living their normal lives and they have the courage to keep going back to work each day.

as far as i know the white one on top is only used for bloodhounds.
I was there when Pyrothijs deleted Hoppah's weed cat photo!!!!!

i think the SUV is Ford i dont think Toyota got car look like that :D

So K9 is working on EM4/911FR ??

I voted for LASD, even though I would prefer LAPD, but when I voted, I had not seen the 2 LAPD additions :)

just add both to LAPD and LASD
because the dog is kind of equipment and shouldn't be problem to add to vehicles, just retexture and do cargo changes in both vehicles
but if only one vehicle, then the Tahoe.
