It depends where you are, some areas have very modern pictures but some don't.

Cool. I thought all of it was done via satellite.

There is a certain point where it switches from satellites to planes but I'm not sure when that is.
I remember it was on the news, there was a big debate about 'big brother' sort of stuff, and someone was scared about all the satellites watching them.
But it turned out that satellites can't zoom in that far.
