Since this is the 'bug' forum, I thought I should add this...

Since Win7 is coming out tomorrow, I will let everyone know I've been running the full version win7 X64 (LEGALLY provided through my university) for a couple months now and I'm glad to say I've had minimal problems with 911: FR or the LA mod (and what little I had was solved by updating the vid card drivers). I will note that you'll have to enable it for admin like vista and enable it to run in Win2000 mode

OFF TOP - Win7 is pretty good. I'd recommend it over vista any day.

back to topic....

Hope this eases anyones worries about compatibility!

Thanks. I haven't had any problems with Vista (unlike some people) whatsoever. I hope it's the same case with windows 7. I think it's due to the fact that I built the computer so it didn't come with any extraneous crap installed.

Off-topic: they just charged my W7 preorder this morning. Should be shipping soon.

No problem guys. I've enjoyed it these past couple of months. It's not a HUGE change from Vista, but it is more user friendly in my opinion

Thanks for the Mod its good!

I also noticed that the fire fighters dont automatically go back into the fire engine when you click detach hose. I noticed you mentioned that they go automatically into the engine when you do this?

Is there a way to fix this as its really annoying i have to click on every firefighter and make him go into the engine 1 by 1.

Also is there a way to make the sirens go on without me having to automatically clicking turn on sirens. I have automatic sirens on but still i have to put them on manually.

Also i have the icon of the new mod on my desktop but i still have to manually load the mod when i open it

Im on Vista 32bit

:welcome: to the forums.

The firefighters do get back into their vehicles, apart from the Brush truck. You don't press detach hose, you use the rapid deployment command for them to get out and back in.

There is no way make the sirens go on without you clicking them.

And the Forest fire truck

EDIT: Sirens should come on after commanding a unit to move when using auto-siren

There are highway patrol (CHP, even though they look like the other LAPD/LASD units, which is one problem with California) and "life guards" (Coast Guard Jayhawk).

There is a CHP (Highway Patrol) Ford Crown Victoria and a CHP Dodge Charger in the game. There is a lifeguard submod for EM4. Look in the submods section.

The only problem I had running it on Win7 was I had to manually edit the screen resolution in the config file. Didnt have to make it compatible with Win2K or anything.

Theres a lifeguard sub mod but it never made it out of beta sadly.

Highway Patrol has both a CV and Charger already in the game. :s

I just mentioned that like 2-3 days back.

Well since no one answered you and I just recently exepienced it for the first time, I thought maybe someone would listen, but no one did...
